Services
All of our team members are dedicated to the needs and development of the children in our care. Put simply - they LOVE working with children. All members have a minimum of either NVQ level 2 or 3 in childcare or an equivalent qualification. We pride ourselves in having a very low turnover of staff that is well below the sector average.

With over 33 years of experience caring for babies and children, Claremont Day Nursery has built up a well respected and trusted reputation with local families for delivering an outstanding service and education.We care for children from 3 months old to 5 years and offer a variety of sessions between 7.30 am and 6.00 pm for 51 weeks of the year.

We understand the transition from home is important and value your input as a parent immensely, as you know your baby better than anyone else. We follow the routines you have built up at home, so your baby gets the same messages every day and we want them to settle easily and do everything to reinforce that feeling of security.
My little boy started at Claremont at nine months old and finished just before starting school at nearly five years old. The staff have supported me so much through those years and have always been highly professional, as well as friendly, kind and understanding. My son is very shy and a bit anxious and they have nurtured him and helped him find his confidence.
