We are a community nursery who strives to ensure children are given opportunities to promote the best possible start in life whilst creating many happy memories along the way. Services
We operate an employee of the month scheme to acknowledge staff for their hard work and dedication. We select the employee on the month based on nominations made by parents/carers, children and other members of the team so please contribute as often as you can by completing a nomination slip in nursery and posting it in the box outside the office.
Our baby room cares for babies aged 3 months up to 2 years of age. The staff: child ratio is 1 member of staff to 3 children as a maximum. In the baby room we are very focused on individual children's routines and try to follow these as best we can to ensure there is consistency between home and nursery.
Our infant room is for children aged 2 - 3 years of age and the ratio is 1 member of staff to 4 children as a maximum. Children in the infants' room are offered a wide range of activities including messy play, creative, role play, construction etc. Activities are free choice and are supported by knowledgeable and skilled staff.
In our preschool room we provide opportunities and care for children aged 3 - 5 years of age and the staff ratio is 1 member of staff to 8 children at a maximum. Although in preschool the children still have plenty of time for free choice activities, we do provide some slightly more focussed and structured activities throughout the day to encourage children's skills and support them in preparing for school, their next big step in life.
We have our own separate room for afterschool and holiday club which is set out with the children's interests and ages in mind. We offer collection from both Reigate and Brackensdale primary school up until 6pm. Children from Brackensdale are collected by our nursery staff in our minibus and children from Reigate are collected by foot, we have quick access directly across the school field to avoid walking along the roadside.
