To Little Scholars Nursery where we feel that children learn and develop best in a trusting and happy environment. Here at Little Scholars Nursery we feel that children learn and develop best in a trusting and happy environment where we look at each child's individual needs and create individual next steps to help them become happy confident children.
We are a converted house that enables to utilize rooms so that we have small groups. We prefer having small family like groups so our well-established devoted team are able to get to know each individual child and are able to role model good behaviour as well as caring for each other. We work alongside parents to develop a strong partnership one of the ways in which we do this is through our learning journey system.

In the baby room we plan activities for all the individual children helping them to learn through the different parts of the routine, that is flexible to accommodate the individual children's needs.
With in the nursery we have 3 communal areas.
The main hall way where you will find additional information on display, the conservatory where the preschool children all have their own coat peg and this leads out to the final communal area the garden where all the children have access to in all weathers this enables us to learn about the weather, seasons as well as carry out activities that we are unable to do inside due to the space constraints of inside.

This nursery well all I can say is wow!! Signed my little man up to here for his 15 hours a week free child care, he started during covid in April so parents were not allowed in on his first day. However thanks to the amazing staff they made my son feel welcome, safe, happy and excited all of which I saw. Tina and Shannon are in my sons room and they are both fabulous, I would wish for anyone else to take care of him these 2 ladies are brilliant. Since being at little scholars my son has come on so much. Everything including his language skills, his confidence and his ability to do just things

My daughter has attended this nursery since the summer, and has loved every single second of it. All the staff are brilliant especially Lucy, reenie always asks for Lucy which makes me feel so comfortable to know that their is someone who she likes to go to. The staff are always honest and easy to talk with and always tell you about your child's day.. the only thing I will say is the tapestry should be more quicker and should tell you what the child has eaten ext so you can check on it yourself.. but other than that, everything is absolutely amazing and my little girl loves it and the food ๐

I was so nervous sending my little girl to Nursery but ever since being here sheโs made me and her dad so proud and we have all of the girls there to thank for that. My little girl has learnt new songs, count to 20 and her ABCs by the age of 3 years old and itโs all down to this amazing Nursery. They have encouraged her to eat different foods which was a worry to me and always let me no what she has and hasnโt ate when i pick her up which is a good help. The girls are amazing and are very aproachable to me and my daughter! Iโd recommend this Nursery to anybody!!!

My little boy has been attending the nursery for just over a year now and he has come on so much in this time. He started in the baby room and has now had a very smooth transition into the tweenie room. The staff are really helpful and friendly and if I have any concerns about him or a change in routine the staff are always happy to listen and change routine. I would highly recommend the nursery.
