Woodley Pre-School offers sessional care for 2 -5 year olds and aims to provide a caring, safe and stimulating environment, that promotes learning through play for each individual child. The Pre-School can trace its history back over 30 years and currently offers both morning and afternoon sessions in our purpose built building in the grounds of Woodford Park, woodley.
Our AGM will be held at the end of the Autumn term, 2020, at 8pm, in the pre-school. ALL parents and other interested parties are encouraged to attend and will be very welcome.

Services
From the term after a child's third birthday, children are entitled to access fifteen hours funded Pre-School education. Woodley Pre-School accept 2yr old funding, however we are only able to offer limited places. Please contact the pre-school for more information regarding spaces and for an update on our current waiting list.
Woodley Pre-School is managed by a Parent Committee. The Committee work in close co-operation with the Manager and Staff and is responsible for employing staff, fundraising and strategic decision making. The Committee is elected at an Annual General Meeting, held in October/November and members serve for a minimum of one year.
In our setting we maintain the ratio of adults to children that is set through the Welfare Requirements. We also have volunteer parent helpers, where possible, to complement these ratios. Our staff are highly qualified with six staff having completed a minimum of NVQ level 3. We have a longstanding team who are dedicated to the welfare and education of the children.
