Learning is at the heart of everything we do. At Tirlebrook, to ensure that learning thrives, we encourage the children to explore, enjoy and excel in every aspect of their schooling together. It is our aim to develop resilient, independent, confident and happy learners. We pride ourselves in being friendly, inclusive and welcoming.
This is all achieved in an environment where children are expected to be ready, respectful and responsible. We hope that the information contained in our website will give you an idea of what life is like at our school. At Tirlebrook Primary School, we have devised an exciting History curriculum that provides a window into the past.
It is our intention that children at Tirlebrook Primary School don't just study history from the outside looking in, but that venture on a journey together to be transported through time and given the tools and experiences to be fully immersed in the incredibly rich and diverse nature of the history of our planet at a local, national and global scale.

The governing body at Tirlebrook Primary School focuses on the challenges and opportunities for school development. The governors operate at a strategic level to govern the school, leaving the Headteacher and senior school leaders responsible and accountable to the governing body for the operational day to day running of the school.
We are delighted to be able to offer an after school club facility for children attending Tirlebrook. The aim of Tirlebrookers After School Club is to provide affordable, quality and fun childcare after school hours in a welcoming atmosphere. Tirlebrookers is based in the 'Community Room' of Little Oaks Nursery building at Tirlebrook Primary School.
We are delighted to be able to run a Breakfast Club for children at Tirlebrook in order for them to have an early and enjoyable start to the day. The club is open between the hours of 8.00 - 8.40am every day and children from Reception to Year 6 can attend. An 'early start' from 7.45am can be booked too.

Great school who take a lot of interest in the children. Lots of out of school activities and trips. Both kids have loved this school and we are extremely happy with everything the school stands for and the way the curriculum is delivered. Teachers are always friendly and very approachable with any issues. A wonderful local school.
