Swindon Village Primary School
A very warm welcome to Swindon Village Primary School's website where everyone 'Learns from each other and Achieves Together.' We are a vibrant school where children are enthusiastic and motivated to achieve endless possibilities. The children are at the heart of every decision.

We are committed and determined to make sure that they are happy, confident and that the opportunities that are provided for them are relevant to their needs both now and in the future.Through our engaging curriculum, we ensure that children can foster a passion for learning and curiosity that will help to develop high aspirations and a lifetime of memories.
Services
Excellence and enjoyment - these two words best describe what being part of Swindon Village Primary School is all about. Our provisions are shaped by a deep understanding of the needs of our pupils. It is a continuing endeavour for all of our dedicated staff to know our pupils well and we firmly believe in ensuring that children receive a well-rounded curriculum; where individual talents can be spotted and nurtured.
This is our favourite section of the website and will help to give you a flavour of what life is like here at Swindon Village Primary School. The children and staff will be uploading photographs and information about lessons, trips and visitors so you can see all the exciting things that they have been up to!
Here you will find the latest newsletters, class letters and general school correspondence. Our Prospectus and copies of School Policies can be downloaded from the 'Our School' section. Gloucestershire County Council have a new process for eligible families to access Healthy Start Vitamins - please see the attached flyer to see if you are able to access these for FREE.
The school's governing body is made up of 12 people, including the Head Teacher, school staff, parents and people from the local community. The governors challenge and support the Head Teacher to help ensure the school provides a good quality education. They make decisions on things like performance, targets and school policies.
We believe that one of the key roles of our school is to provide a caring, positive, safe and stimulating environment which promotes the social, physical and moral development of every individual child in our care, so that they grow up secure, confident and independent. It is clear, therefore, that the health, safety and well-being of all the children in our care are of paramount importance.
