Please feel free to have a look around and explore our Class pages for more information about what our children have been up to. If you need a copy of a letter, please look at the News and Letters section. If you have a query, why not check the 'Parents' section for direction to the relevant information.
In that time there have been some significant changes, especially to the physical building, but one thing has remained constant - it is a wonderful school! Triangle is a school full of lovely children, supportive staff/governors and caring parents. It is a special place; many of us often refer to it being a family.

Services
Our aim is to provide our children with an engaging, exciting and empowering curriculum that equips them for their time at Triangle and beyond. We believe that childhood should be a happy, investigative and enquiring time, where there are no limits to curiosity and there is a thirst for new experiences and knowledge.
At Triangle the teaching of reading is a high priority as it provides the key to accessing so much of the curriculum. We have a multi-faceted approach with the teaching of systematic synthetic phonics providing the foundation to this. We offer as many opportunities as possible for children to read in both formal and informal settings.
Of course, special days, significant world events or super opportunities will always alter what is taught on a day to day basis. We always look for ways to enhance and supplement our curriculum. You can contact Mrs Quirolo via her school email address cquirolo@triangle.calderdale.sch.uk or by private message on Class Dojo.
Each year the school has what it calls a 'School Improvement Plan'. It follows a simple format that summarises key actions, timescales and success criteria that focus upon aspects of school that we feel we need to address. The document is used by our School Governors to monitor these important areas of what we are trying to do.
ALL pupils leaving primary school should be physically literate and with the knowledge, skills and motivation necessary to equip them for a healthy, active lifestyle and lifelong participation in physical activity and sport. Every school now receives a grant from the Government to improve PE teaching and learning.
