Our mission is to provide an enriching, high quality education, where we learn, love and grow with Christ at the centre, so that each individual feels nurtured and can achieve their full potential. We strive to be an oasis of educational excellence where our children feel well-supported, happy and safe, therefore enjoying school.
They benefit greatly from the creative, skills-based curriculum they receive, and love the exciting school trips and interesting visitors who enhance their learning. If you would like your child to start in Nursery or Reception (2021/22), we would be delighted to show you around our warm, friendly school.

We are part of the Blessed Peter Snow Catholic Academy Trust. Schools within our trust are: St John Fisher's, Dewsbury and Sacred Heart, Sowerby Bridge.
The Diocese of Leeds had determined to divide the Diocese into a number of areas to facilitate those schools that wish to convert to Academy status and to help them to work together to strengthen and protect Catholic education. Our Trust covers the local authority areas of Kirklees and Calderdale. All Catholic schools in the area may join the Trust should they wish.
St Malachy's School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. All appointed staff and volunteers must be willing to undergo child protection screening appropriate to the post, including checks with past employers and the Disclosure and Barring Service. If you have any concerns that you would like to discuss, please contact one of our Safeguarding team.
If you would like to come and have a look around our school, please contact our school office 01422 244628, who will be happy to arrange a convenient time for you to come and have a look around school.
