A haven nestled into the side of an Exmoor hillside. Overall the best holiday cottage we have stayed in. Beautifully decorated, top hotel standard facilities, welcome tray and toiletries and every attention to detail paid. Milk in the fridge, biscuits and tea and coffee and hot chocolate too. The bathroom and kitchen were amazing. Our cottage also had a balcony with a sea view. A delightful pub down the hill and an NT shop with some goodies and ice cream! Awesome walks in every direction. The roads are not for the faint hearted and you need to check your brakes, but our only real complaint is that

We stayed here for a last minute break and stayed in the larger of the three cottages as that's all that was available and it was absolutely beautiful. The owners clearly have very high standards as the place was immaculate and everything had been considered to ensure we were comfortable during our stay.
We took our 7 month old puppy and she just loved her morning walk to Heddon Valley, splashing around in the beautiful and very clean stream that you follow all the way to the cove. If you're considering staying here with or without your dog, yout won't be disappointed and if you love a good walk
