This is our second stay here. Eamon is a great host. Sad to see that all but our booking was cancelled. But glad that he didn't cancel on us as we needed a quiet break.
And quiet break we got. Edinburgh like a ghost town. So sad at Hogmanay time!
When you get chance book a stay here. So convenient for the city centre. Parking on site. Great rooms.

Friendly and helpful staff. My wife and I enjoyed a very comfortable stay. It's near to Arthur's Seat and the city centre, and there are some very good restaurants nearby too.

There's always a warm friendly welcome at The Strathallan. The food is lovely, the rooms are very cosy and the beds are comfortable. It's on a bus route straight into the City or a 25 minute walk whichever you fancy.

As a bed and breakfast it was fine, Its not a hotel, it was quaint and adequate for our needs, The staff was always friendly and helpful. We usually saw them only in the mornings. Thank you Mr Eamonn, Anne, Lauren, Maureen and that really nice house keeper.

We stayed at Strathallan Guest house twice while visiting Scotland and the service was excellent, the staff and owner wonderful and always helpful, and the rooms nice and clean. The breakfast every morning was delicious and was made to order. We will definitely be returning!

Great rooms. Comfortable beds. Best of all, the shower's temperature was constant! Really nice staff. Free cooked breakfast which tastes home made. The only downside was bad wifi but everything else was great. I would stay there again. About a 20 minute walk to the Royal Mile. It means you can drink and then walk home!

Good prices, nice hosts und clean rooms. Really good breakfast. Parking spots in front of the house. The next bus station is just a few steps away - perfect home base while exploring Edinburgh. We stayed under the roof and had a lovely view of the city.

Visited June 2013, very friendly welcome, room was spotless, very attentive and informative staff. breakfast was brilliant and kept us going all day. Very good transport, every bus that passes takes you to the town (£1.50 each way).
Would highly recommend this to anyone who is intending visiting the capital. When I go back to Edinburgh I will be returning to this guest house
