The staff were attentive and provided answers to any query we made. The breakfast was tasty and one could start the day on a full tummy.
However, the dining room is overcrowded with barely six inches between some tables making privacy nigh on impossible. There is no ante room or public place to sit as there appears to be in other establishments in Coates Gardens.
The stair carpet is excessively worn in parts to the point of being threadbare. The room I was in had nothing to hang clothes in, or on, apart from a couple of hooks on the rear of the door. The shower is in the room so absolutely no

Food poisoning alert! Stay 2 nights, 2.6-2.8, double room for 2, the room is good, bathroom is small, but still acceptable. They do offer multiple choices for the breakfast, a buffet and a menu to order. But after we take our breakfast, I and my girlfriend feel really sick and nausea, vomiting, now we lay down in the hotel in Glasgow, cannot eat anything. It totally ruins our trip. And all we eat is the breakfast offered by this hotel. Maybe we ordered medium egg, but egg is bad or the mushroom. It’s horrible when you experience this especially during your romantic trip with your girlfriend.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was amazing and included. The pastries and hot made to order meal eggs and sausage were fantastic. Our bed was soft and room was clean and fairly large. There is no a/c. Our toilet was next door in hallway but we had a shower and sink in our room. The shower was in the corner not in a room so it would wake someone up who is sleeping and was tiny but was warm and worked well. Location is close to a tram stop. Place is cute.
