We arrived in Edinburgh to find our original guesthouse had cancelled last minute. We had drove from Norwich and was sad at the prospect of turning round and going home. Booking.com found us this guest house. We literally booked it and turned up straight away. We were greeted by the lady owner who was unfazed at us just turning up. We explained what had happened and she showed us straight to a room.it was clean and cosy. She then knocked on the door and upgraded our room to a bigger one. We were here for our wedding anniversary and my husband had booked a four poster room. So the free upgrade was

Very warm and hospitable place to stay in cold Edinburgh.the location is good and near to centre, the stuff very kind and useful. When I asked how to get around, they left everything and helped me.rooms are cleaned every day.the breakfast was very full and delicious Scottish breakfast.
However, no one at the reception after 9pm.might be a problem in case of emergency.
I am definitely would like to come back to this hotel next time I in Edinburgh.

Location, location, location. Excellent - in reach of everything. Breakfast great. Although they don't serve halaal, the options were still satisfying. Owner very friendly and most helpful. Be aware that some rooms are on the 3rd floor and if you have any issues with stairs, or especially with plenty luggage. Found the room a little cramped and the toilet in need of some tlc. Priced very reasonable. Enjoyed my stay. Would book again.
