Open all year round, Bonnie's Guesthouse is a small guesthouse in a traditional tenement building only a short walk or bus ride to city centre attractions like Princes Street, Calton Hill, The Royal Mile, Holyrood Palace and Edinburgh Castle. We also have a variety of restaurants nearby, and the Edinburgh Playhouse Theatre is only a couple of minutes walk.
Waverley Station is also 5 minutes by taxi or 15 minute walk. All of our rooms are finished to a high standard with en suite bathrooms, multi-channel digital TV, tea/coffee making facilites and hairdryers in every room. We also have free wifi internet access available. We operate a strictly non-smoking establishment.

I stayed at Bonnie’s Guesthouse for two weeks only, as I originally planned to stay for a few months. The landlady was very attentive and kind to offer me to stay at one of the guest’s rooms, while the student room became available. It was a very comfortable stay. I also asked the landlady if she wanted me to help her with any of the house chores and she said that it wasn’t necessary. What I tried then was to clean after myself every time I used common areas. I just realised one day that the she cleaned the cat's water bowl in the kitchen sink, so I suggested that it was not very safe to

Came to Edinburgh for a night with my partner and we loved it. The hotel was beautiful, the owner was lovely and accommodating and the room was nice and warm all night. Sadly I woke up not feeling great so I skipped breakfast but my girlfriend said it was delicious. Our only note is maybe putting taller glasses in the rooms, the water glasses don't work great when your wanting an end of the night shandy when you get in. Thank you again, we'll be back for our next weekend away :)

Mirella (the owner) is a very sweet and positive person.
The room was tidy and very well stocked with water, things for tea, coffee and sanitary stuff. There was also a fridge.
For breakfast we had glutenfree (but not eggfree) toast, vegan porridge, baked beans, orange juice and tea with cashew milk.
She has a friendly cat named Lucy, and the cleaning lady was also very friendly.
At the evening we were allowed to eat out take-away dinner in the breakfast room.
It is located very central in the city and has a health food shop nearby.

We stayed several nights at Bonnie’s and it was perfect! We got in a little before check in, but Mirella stowed our bags and sent us off with bottles of water until our room was ready.
The room itself (room #2) is compact, but perfectly suitable for 2 grown adults. The room was comfortably appointed, very clean, and nicely stocked with water, tea, candies, and even a shoe shine kit! The bathroom, while small, had enough room to maneuver and was also stocked with feminine hygiene products, q-tips, ear plugs (didn’t need them!) and more.
Breakfast is complimentary and deliciously made to order

Excellent accommodation on a budget price. I can't fault it. Breakfast was delicious and used what appeared to be the best of ingredients. The hostess had made up a lovely fruit salad for us Also.
Within easy walking distance of the city centre with lots of shops and eateries on the doorstep.
Parking was free on the weekend across the road which was a bonus.
Will deffinitely use again the next time we're in Edinburgh.
