Footsteps Nursery understands the importance of good relationships with parents and carers, as you know your child better than anyone. We have thorough and comprehensive policies and procedures in place to preserve the safety and well-being of everyone. These policies and procedures are available to you upon request.
All 3 and 4 year olds in England are entitled to 570 hours of FEEE. This is usually taken as a maximum of 15 hours a week over 38 weeks of the year, in line with Leicestershire's school term dates, but can be taken as fewer hours over more weeks. Some 2 year olds are also eligible. We except all employee childcare vouchers.

Services
Is given generous care and attention through our ratio of highly qualified staff to children. Is helped to progress in their learning and development by building on what they already know and can do. Is in a setting that sees parents as partners and who help to shape the service that we offer. The Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) sets standards for the learning, development and care of children from birth to 5 years old.
All staff are either fully qualified or working towards NVQ's or equivalent, and are all CRB (Criminal Record Bureau) checked. They also complete in house training to our high standards and attend mandatory courses such as First Aid and Food Hygiene. We always put health & safety and security first, with strict security procedures in place, including a finger print entry system and CCTV throughout.
Welcome to our brand new Footloose Club, we are really looking forward to watching our children grow even more now and offering exciting new opportunities. Our out of school club is aimed at 4 - 11 year olds and runs before and after school, as well as in the school holidays from our purpose built log cabin.
We would like to say a big welcome to Martha, Rori, Lola, Arabella, Aavyia, Amelia, Huxley, Lucas and Jack who have joined us recently or will be joining us in the next few months. We hope you have lots of fun in your new room. We would like to say a big goodbye to Bobby, Amelia, Harry, Harper, Poppy, Ava, Ellie, Hugo, Ethan and Taylen who will be transitioning into the pre-school room!

Please ensure your child is in the nursery before 9am if they require breakfast as we set activities up and go outside at 9am so we wouldn't want your child to miss out on this.
