At Ings Farm we benefit from extensive school grounds. They provide a lovely environment for children to enjoy playtimes in and excellent opportunities for outdoor learning during the school day and at a range of after school clubs. Nursery and Reception enjoy using their specifically designed outdoor areas, Children have continuous access from the classroom to this outdoor provision.
Here's a sample 3 weekly menu to give you an idea of the food that is available to the children. Each day, they can choose a main, a side (more than one if they wish to) and a dessert. This is a national initiative and one that we all agree will have a positive effect in school. The cost of a school meal for a child in KS2 is 2.15 and should be paid on Mondays using our parental payment system.

I was invited to spend a day here to help year 3 with their Roman topic. What a lovely school. Everybody I met was friendly and helpful from the moment I arrived to the moment I left. I really did feel that I was in a very happy well run school. I was also impressed by some of the methods the teachers used to engage and motivate the children who were obviously enjoying learning. Brilliant.
