OPSO restaurant opened in the heart of Marylebone in 2014 introducing a new approach to modern Greek food into London's dining scene. Inspired by our Greek culinary heritage, OPSO combines our contemporary culinary perspective with the famous Greek hospitality. Based on seasonal high-quality ingredients, most of which are supplied directly from Greece, our Chefs create dishes that elevate modern Greek food into new sensory heights.
On the ground floor, our bar welcomes our guests with a carefully selected number of Greek liqueurs, essential for our exclusive cocktails, while into the dining room a marble communal table is set in-between tables, offering an excellent spot to share and socialize.

Services
Following updated government guidance, it is now mandatory for guests to wear masks when entering, exiting and moving around the restaurant. In addition, we have a legal requirement to collect track and trace details from all guests; this can either be given to the reception team or entered into the NHS App by scanning our QR code.
In line with the government legislation, 'The Larder' is currently available for private hiring for up to 6 guests or 2 households or for events (i.e wedding receptions and christenings) for up to 30 guests. The Larder is surrounded by floor-to-ceiling curing chambers which are used by our Chefs to store selected Greek delicacies that lead our menus and shape the perfect environment to host your private party.
OPSO at Home reflects our Chefs' flavourful childhood memories and brings home-cooked Greek food directly to the comfort of your own home! The Chefs elevate the simplicity of our Greek culinary heritage and they invite you to 'take a seat'. OPSO at Home showcases some of the most traditional Greek dishes, while our exclusively Greek wine list, with wines sourced from all over the country, is available to complement your meal.
Our Chefs, Georgianna Hiliadaki & Nikos Roussos met each other back in 2002, in the culinary school in Manhattan, New York. After their training period in restaurants around the world, in 2006 the Chefs went back to Greece and introduced the idea of private cheffing by establishing Funky Gourmet Private Cheffing.

Not so good as expected. The flavours are ok but the small dishes are overpriced. 18£ for a fake dakos, just some cherry tamato's with small rusks. This is nothing special. Also the dishes were not so special and were not present warm. Too nousy and staff not so friendly for 50£ service fee. They promote Greek food but there was only one Greek desert and not even Greek yogurt or healthy Greek mountain tea. It has nothing to do with the Funky Gourmet were eating was a great and funny experience.

Overpriced, small portions, good presentation but nothing special in terms of flavours. We ordered cocktails and they arrived after we had finished with the starters. The waiters were rushing to bring and to collect everything and we felt that they were rushing us to leave as well. 5 stars for the pitta buns if they still do them as takeaway. 1 star for the restaurant experience.

We came as a group for the brunch menu.
Firstly the service was perfect. There was no interruptions when needed, we was assisted when required and the waiters constantly made sure our glasses were topped up.
I personally went with the prime rib eye steak 400gr cooked to medium rare. Honestly it was divine, highest quality steak I have. Perfectly cooked and seasoned which was presented very well on the plate. Served it with a size of mashed potato which was amazing and once again cannot fault the taste one bit.
We ordered a variety of dishes amongst all of us, the mains to share plate are not

This modern/fusion Greek restaurant is rather expensive (even for london) but the food is delicious and the dishes look and taste amazing. Over time portions have decreased and prices have gone up but the food is still so so delicious that I would still recommend this place! Ideal to go with a group of friends and get a bunch of sharing plates!

Been twice to Opso and will go again. The service is impeccable and extremely quick. Interior is very nice as well and the communal table is a great idea. Have not tried the cocktails but Opso has a very extensive selection of Greek wines of obscure grape varieties that taste great. The food was equally delicious. Would recommend the cauliflower and the deserts.

This place has completely gone downhill. Been here three years ago, great experience so we decided to visit again, really disappointed by how much the portion has shrunk. The grilled cauliflower used to be giant and nicely wrapped in foil, but now it’s like half of the size and sadly thrown into a plate. They charged £20 for some beef mince on top of aubergine. The whole menu is just so overpriced.

Aww came here yesterday, and they've opened up an outdoor take out bar! It's very cute. Handwritten signs on cardboard signs for 8 pound cocktails served out in plastic cups, such as mojitos and grapefruit gins and spritzes. The spritz I got tasted sweet and nice and it was so exciting to finally (first time in 3 months!) be sort of out in a bar again :) Everyone drank outside in social distant groups, but it was a sunny beautiful day and still had a really nice ambience.

Dined here in 2016. Interior design is on point - clean lines and modern. Food served is like tapas style. Small plates, reasonably priced. Greek food here has a modern twist so of you want the big serving traditional Greek food - you're better off finding another place.
Food was good the first time we went there. We decided to come back again with friends, but strangely it didn't taste as good as I remembered it to be. There are more seating downstairs. It was quite busy the third time we came and nearly fully booked.

The weekday brunch menu features a good variety of modern Greek and classic meat and pasta dishes. Mediterranean starters like the tahini yogurt and Greek salad taste fresh, clean and has plenty of acidity to go along while sprinkles of dill add a herbal undertone. The chicken dish was a crowd pleaser because it was just so moist throughout. The pasta dishes (mushroom risotto and maniatiki village pasta with a runny egg on top) was a tad bit too salty for our taste. Ambience is modern and staff is very friendly. For the quality and taste, the food is definitely too pricey and is the reason I didn

Yummy! I absolutely loved the food from opso. I shared plates with my friends hence I got to try a variety of dishes. I loved the scrambled eggs with avocado, tomatoes and feta cheese (which did not taste like the feta cheese that I have tried in the past), I also enjoyed the croquette. I'd definitely come back. Oh, hot chocolate was also delicious. Yummy!

Wow, this place was quite a find. Staff was seriously attentive & very kind. The food was absolutely phenomenal with larger than expected portions. We ordered a hummus & Tzatziki with bread. We couldn't finish it all because the portions were so large. We also ordered the Greek Salad which included Tomatoes, large chunks of creamy goat cheese, & olives. It was so delicious we couldn't believe it. Plus they have a great drink selection. I was so impressed by this restaurant. I would highly highly recommend this place to others.

Beautiful design, friendly service, flavorful food and wonderful tableware.
There are so many amazing sounding dishes on the menu, so we had a hard time choosing!
We went for the Koulori Briam which is basically a 'bagel' stuffed with grilled vegetables, cheese and stacked crispy chips. Hits the spot.
We shared some Feta Saganaki which was delicious. Perfect for dipping and to accompany most dishes.
The OPSO Benedict with salmon & dill was nice but nothing amazing.
Portions are quite small so make sure to order plenty of sides and dips.

Pros:
+fried smoked Metsovone cheese, in fact, all of their cheese was good
+fantastic bread
+awesome Opso iced coffee
+baby friendly. I don't have babies, but they were were really friendly to families that did
+open, chilled out vibe
Cons:
-tiny portions, we laughed when they brought over the sesame bread "kolouri" and there were 3 for our party of 4. They were very nice about bringing over an extra piece of bread when we asked. But the salmon burger and the other dishes were hilariously tiny.
-brunch dishes were nothing spectacular

Nice little spot to grab a cozy dinner with friends. Grab a booth downstairs (more intimate) or get drinks by the bar upstairs (louder). Restaurant gets bonus points for playing Lord of the Rings audio book in the bathrooms.
Food was tasty but not mind blowing. Favorites were the taramosalata dip, stewed chicken drumsticks, rib eye steak, semolina cream, and the warm chocolate cake.
