Very nice guesthouse indeed. I thoroughly recommend the place and helpful staff. I had booked through an international website which had not passed on the booking (nothing to do with the guesthouse), but the staff there bent over backwards to help out. Mohammed really treated us well . So helpful and friendly

Budget stay in Edinburgh. Lots of eateries near by so no need to worry about food. You’re definitely not deserted. Just 10mins bus journey to city center.
Breakfast: Continental Breakfast only don’t except English/Scottish. However, I have tried a cafe near by ‘breakfast brunch & lunch’ or ‘Kilimanjaro’ to have your tummy full.
Room: I was lucky to get a family room as they had an extra bed for my kid. Ensuite toilet is bit small in size but just outside there is a communal toilet (big) that could be used.
Heating: Perfect and warmth
Noise: Double glazed and it was not a disturbance

Stayed one night. Room was clean and tidy. Bathroom a little small but was all you really need for one night. Shower was hot and powerful. Plenty of tea and coffee. Breakfast was very meagre but that seems standard during the pandemic. Staff were friendly and helpful. Would have given a 4 if there had been a better breakfast

The host is just lovely and gracious.
The room and bathroom are very small but they certainly don’t hide that fact on their website. As a solo traveler, it was perfect. Warm, cosy and quiet. Buses 100m from the front door enabled easy transport. I walked pretty much every day to the Royal Mile and Princess St. 15 minutes and pleasant walk. Great location, great people and really comfortable rooms. Stairs will be a problem if you have lower body issues.

My favourite guesthouse in all of Edinburgh! You can expect a warm and friendly welcome when you stay at Blossom House. The rooms are bright, cheerful and clean, and the house itself is a charming Victorian-era building which is full of character. Breakfast is a Continental-style spread, with a choice of cooked breakfast and as much tea and coffee as you can drink. The location of the building, close to shops, a great choice of restaurants, and next to a bus route which takes you directly to the city centre, makes this the perfect guesthouse for your stay in Edinburgh.

We stayed here 3 nights. Our large room was on the first floor and very clean. The bathroom was a bit small, but we managed just fine. Our host was very pleasant and helpful, and the breakfast was a very nice assortment of cereal, fruit, yogurt, cheese and bread. It's right on the bus route which made it easy to get to city center. We would stay at Blossom House again.

We arrived early and were given access to our room even though it was well before check in time. Normally we are made to wait in other places. The stairs might be difficult for some people but I loved the classic feel of the place. Especially as the rooms felt modern and well kept. The shower room was a bit small but clean. Fresh towels are provided every day.
Breakfast choice was cereal, toast, selection of cheeses, different croissants, yogurts, fresh and tinned fruits, boiled eggs tea/coffee. I loved sitting with a cup of tea and looking out onto the garden from the conservatory. It was very
