We are a small animal practice based in the East Midlands. Our main site is in Long Eaton and was first established in 1979. We also have a small branch surgery in Chilwell. We are passionate about animal care and our skilled team of veterinarians and vet nurses are dedicated to providing the highest quality care for your animals.
We strive to provide excellent continuity of care and therefore are open six days a week and have access to 24-hour emergency care. To help keep us all safe, please do not attend the practice unless you have a pre-booked appointment, or have arranged to collect food/medication.

Ark Veterinary Clinics is a long established, RCVS accredited small animal practice, located centrally in between Nottingham and Derby. Our main first-opinion practice is based in Long Eaton and our smaller branch surgery provides first-opinion care for clients in and around the Chilwell/Beeston areas.
Here at Ark Veterinary Clinics, we're very proud to have so many enthusiastic and dedicated individuals working in our friendly practice. We are all passionate about animals and their well-being, from our veterinary surgeons and qualified nurses to our essential support staff. Highly trained and caring, each of us has a role to play in making this a special practice for you to visit with your pet.
Our team of highly dedicated and experienced veterinary surgeons and vet nurses are devoted to your pet's wellbeing. Your pets are always our priority. We all have our own pets and work hard to provide the same service to you that we would want for our own much-loved animals. At our surgeries we provide continuity of care, working with you to provide effective and high quality treatment.
Many of our patients are receiving long term treatment and are eligible for 'repeat prescriptions'. Usually, we see these patients every six months, although for some conditions and often at the start of a new treatment, this may be more frequently. If your pet is due more of their usual medication, please contact us no less than 48-hours before you would like to collect this.
In the event of an emergency during our normal opening hours please call your local surgery on 0115 9225900 (Chilwell) or 0115 9723650 (Long Eaton) and you will be advised what to do next. If your call is during the night or at the weekend whilst our clinic is closed, please contact MiNightVet Nottingham on 0115 9430898.

We are always lead to believe that animals know when they are off to the vets!!! That is certainly the case with my two dogs.... But it's with excitement not fear that they head in so quick.... Staff are brilliant and you can tell its a vocation for them... Always friendly and helpful I would fully recommend ark vets to anyone 😊

I have been bringing my rabbits here for the past 5 years. All the team are warm and friendly and offer you lots of advice and my rabbits have always had the best treatments possible. Not all vets specialise in caring for rabbits but these are brilliant. I had to ring them for an emergency and within half an hour the vet was seeing to my rabbit. For this I can not thank them enough. All was well and we knew she was getting the best treatment as always. Cannot recommend this vets enough.
