Churchcroft Vets
Churchcroft Vets is a family run vets owned by George Packer BVSc MRCVS. George is highly motivated to provide exceptionally high quality veterinary care, with a strong caring attitude. He is a leader of a dedicated team who offer something special in terms of pet care and client service. If you are looking for sound care and advice, Churchcroft Vets have got you covered.

We have plenty of free parking and offer flexible appointment times which range from early morning until late evening during weekdays and we are also open on Saturday mornings. Our VIP Pet club offers outstanding savings on routine healthcare and ensures your beloved pet is kept in the best possible health whilst also making top notch pet care easy for you.
Services
Churchcroft is a modern, high quality small animal practice with plenty of free parking available. We are a close team of vets and nurses and pride ourselves on excellent client and pet care. We care for our patients as though they were our own pets and as pet owners ourselves understand the concerns that owners have.
After graduation, George worked in small animal practice and quickly became the Clinical Director of several practices for a large corporate vet. As Clinical Director George was responsible for overseeing 9 other vets and helping them with difficult surgery and medicine cases. George has always had a special interest in cardiology and has since developed further interests in feline and geriatric medicine.
We aim to educate our clients to help them to look after their pets in the healthiest way possible. We are pet owners and lovers-we completely understand all the stresses and pressures of pet care. We PRICE MATCH any local vets for routine procedures-even though we think we do these better. We are available-ourselves-24 hours a day to attend to any seriously ill pet or to discuss whether you need to take urgent action.
Take advantage of a Free Arthritis Check with a vet, as whilst it's cold and wet stiff joints are at their worst. Make sure your companion is not suffering! Warning: High numbers of dogs are suffering from a violent gastroenteritis bug in the Midlands and beyond!. Laser therapy- the drug free approach to keeping your pet moving and happy.
Dental pain is poorly recognised by many owners and even some vets, however the evidence speaks for itself. A healthy mouth improves the general health and wellbeing of our pets. Untreated dental decay and infection can erode the bones of the jaw and nose. Infection can spread to heart valves causing heart failure, as well as causing liver and kidney problems.

Your response to my partner's review was awful.
To see you try to shift the blame onto the vet nurses (who were nothing but lovely and caring the entire time) is reprehensible, and the fact that you've entirely ignored anything to do with your chief vet hitting the body of our dead cat multiple times after being told very clearly not to is sickening.
There was no one else waiting for appointments at the time, so to try and make out it was because we were delaying other appointments is nothing but a straight out lie, on top of which you then tried to make us wait outside for the taxi home to arrive

Only having registered our 3 cats 2wks ago, an emergency app was required on Saturday for our beautiful 3 legged Tilly. Blood tests taken and returned yesterday for ultrasound biopsy etc the diagnosis was as suspected by George, it was terminal liver cancer, we had her home overnight and slept by her side. Our other 2 cats were watching over her. We made a heartbreaking decision today and returned for George to put her to sleep. We honestly can't thank them enough, Poppie was exceptional also the rest of the staff we had contact with during our visits, they have taken everything out of our hands

I recently got two beautiful puppies and Churchcroft was recommended to us from a friend and I can honestly say that the care and thoughtfulness of all the staff is amazing! Unfortunately for us one of our puppies had health issues, George was great at explaining what was happening and what could/would happen. Our beautiful boy Reggie then took poorly late evening and without a question George was at the surgery out of hours doing all he could to help, we unfortunately lost him that evening but the support and words of comfort from George that evening really helped. Having been back to the surgery

Positive: Professionalism, Reliability, Responsiveness
I started taking my Dog to Churchcroft after having an incorrect diagnosis elsewhere. The staff are really friendly and accommodating, but they all know their stuff too and when I take my boy here I have no doubt that he’s in the best hands. Would definitely recommend!

George Packer and the team at Churchcroft have looked after our pets over many years and we have always been very satisfied with the care and attention they have given. Appointments have been made available at short notice if the need has arisen and we have been pleased with the diagnostic processes used and treatment plans implemented. Unfortunately our much loved dog Maggie has had long term urinary problems which have been well monitored and treated over several years. A recent diagnosis of arthritis has also entailed more visits and treatment. We have been extremely impressed with how this

There are no words to truly express how fortunate I am to have been recommended to Churchcroft Veterinary Centre! I wanted the best for my Siamese cat Mia and that is what I have found; my initial phone call (in a desperate situation) was taken by Lauren who put me at ease, was informative, courteous and kind. Upon arrival I was greeted by the Vet, who took Mia from me and into the back whilst we discussed her history and her current problem. I took a seat in reception (probably talked to much in my anxious state) and when the vet came out he talked through his plan for Mia tomorrow, when we must

So far so good. I have a rescue who has been very shut down since I got her. I have been unable to bring her in to the centre but after explaining the situation to the team they gave me a video consultation and prescribed medication to help her as well, posting it to me as well.

I would like to say a huge Thank You to George, Sarah and the team at Churchcroft for Harry's recent treatment. Harry is 13 years old and has suffered from chronic arthritis for many years. Having been told by our previous vets that nothing more could be done for him, we came to see George. Since then, Harry has had the benefit of the Aquamid injection which has been amazing. The results are beyond anything we could have hoped for. He is like a puppy again!
