Our practice opened in 1994 in the Nottinghamshire village of Ruddington. We care for small animals including dogs, cats, birds, rabbits, guinea pigs and other small mammals. Our dedicated and skilled team of veterinary surgeons and nurses work seven days a week and we are ably supported by a specialist out-of-hours provider.
Ample free parking is available on the streets adjacent to the practice and in the public car park behind it. To help keep us all safe, please do not attend the practice unless you have a pre-booked appointment, or have arranged to collect food/medication.

Our team of highly dedicated and experienced veterinary surgeons and vet nurses are devoted to your pet's wellbeing. We are passionate about animal care. We all have our own pets and work hard to provide the same service to you that we would want for our own much-loved animals. At our surgery we provide continuity of care, working with you to provide effective and high quality treatment.
The veterinary surgeon may only prescribe Prescription Only Medicines (Category POM-V) for animals under their care. In the case of flea or worming treatment, the animal must have been seen in the previous 12-months. In the case of repeat prescriptions of medication for a stabilised case, the veterinary surgeon will need to check the animal every three to six months, but this may vary on individual circumstances.
In the event of an emergency during our normal opening hours please call our surgery on the numbers below and you will be advised what to do next. If your call is during the night or at the weekend whilst our clinic is closed, please contact MiNightVet Nottingham on 0115 9430898. Not very happy with this vets after my last few visits with my dogs. One of my dogs is extremely nervous of vets. The vets stressed him out by trying to mussel him and force him to go into the practice with out us in the end they had to give vaccination on the street. Had they payed any attention to me on the phone the stress caused to my dog could of been totally avoided. Also my other dog had a litter and we had to take one pup for a check as she wasn't gaining weight we later lost the pup as she had a cleft palate which the vet failed to notice had she noticed this poor pup could of been put

Positive: Professionalism, Quality, Reliability, Responsiveness, Value
I've been at this vet for over 20 years. I've always had fantastic and compassionate care here. I've always been treated with respect and had all options explained to me. All the vets have been excellent , and especially Luca, who cared for my previous dog with such skill and kindness.I thoroughly recommend this practice.
