I urgently needed accommodation for a hospital appointment and booked the cheapest and closest thing to Churchill hospital. I was pleasantly surprised how wonderful my stay was. It was really unexpected for the price. The breakfast was great consisted of cereal, yoghurt, juice, toast, and a full english. It was such a great start to our day. Conifers is located next to a busstop that takes you past the hospitals and into the city center which was perfect for us. The beds were super comfortable and the both of us slept better than we usually do at home. The staff were very kind and professional

I stayed for two nights. Very accommodating staff. Room spacious and very clean. Sweet place, and I love their little garden. The only thing, I could of done with, is a fan, as it did get rather hot in the night. And maybe a slightly softer pillow. A worthy 5/5 though.

Stayed here for work and booked because of the positive reviews. The bathroom was clean and the breakfast good, however the room (on the very top floor) was not as clean as reviews had led me to believe, with the pillows on the bed especially smelly (smelling like they had been slept on hundreds of times ... the bedding appeared to be clean so I can only assume the pillows were particularly old). I had to clean the TV remote which looked like it had never been cleaned in months and was caked in dirt between the buttons. All in all, apart from the bathroom the room itself seemed extremely grubby

This is a brilliant guest house and it has a really friendly staff. Buffet breakfast that comes with freshly prepared warm set, such as bacon, eggs, toast and sausages. Rooms are tidy and spacious enough.
If you have a car that is size of a ship instead of standard family car, you may reconsider parking it at the back as the space is quite limited. I had the pleasure of driving a Ford Galaxy to the back and there was only a few cm extra space each side of the car while going the passageway. Not to mention when turning the car.. 😅😄
Otherwise, we had a pleasant stay!

Simple comfortable rooms and a pleasant enough garden for the use of guests. The guest house is close to a regular bus route into Oxford City centre and within a 10 minute walk of The Churchill hospital. Good well cooked breakfast.

The room was very spacious with a good sized firm bed which could sleep easily. Coffee and tea making facilities. Shower was hot and powerful. The bathroom was finished to a very good standard. Plenty of parking. The owner was very polite and friendly. The room we had was number 11. The guest house was on a main bus route with either a 5 min drive to London Road which has plenty of shops or 10 to 15 minutes back into the center of Oxford. Would recommend he conifers as a Base for exploring Oxford on a long weekend

We had a great experience at Conifers Guest House. Our family of four stayed there for 3 nights in late November. The room, with queen and bunk set, was clean and well furnished and suited our needs perfectly. Free, fast wifi proved very useful to us. There was a good breakfast selection which was well prepared and fast. The host was very accommodating and friendly. I would highly recommend a stay, and will stay here again if ever returning to Oxford.

We really enjoyed our three night stay at the Conifers Guest House on August 30/31/1 2013.
Room 10 was like coming home to a mini-studio apartment in the evening.
Totally quiet at night time, we slept with the windows open on a super comfortable bed. The bathroom was newly fitted with copious hot water and pressure was spot on.
We appreciated the two full sized mirrors, extra vanity mirror and hair dryer - perfect for two girls!
We liked that the room was made up everyday with fresh towels like a hotel and felt the contents of our exploded suitcases were safe.
