We are so very proud of all that we do at Oakwood, every day, to ensure that we are all learning, working and playing together for a better tomorrow. As a long standing member of the Oakwood family, having joined the team in 2001 as vice-principal, I love that we welcome, include and nurture children of all religions and none, whilst retaining our Christian ethos.
I am particularly proud of the feeling of community, of being part of one bigger Oakwood family, that incorporates parents, grandparents, carers and friends of Oakwood, all involved in doing things the Oakwood Way.

We are enjoying being back to school. This week we have been playing in our farm shop and cafe as well as spening lots of time outside! Today in Nursery, we had lots of fun discussing our favourite book characters and painting them on to potatoes. We chose Ninja Turltes, Princesses and hedgehogs to name a few!

The theme for this year's integrated month is 'Together'. We thought about what things can bring us together, in particular, what has brought us together during time apart this past year. We each completed a piece of this rainbow which has become an important symbol to. We are so excited that spring is here and Mckenna summed it up in her lovely, colourful poem.
