Holy Family Primary School has a long tradition of providing the highest standards of education to the boys and girls of Holy Family Parish and beyond. We are committed to developing each child to his/her potential within a caring community, which fosters the Catholic faith and Catholic values and attitudes.
We had lots of great events, and past pupils got in touch in their droves to provide photos, memories and much more through our Facebook page. We invited all members of our school and parish community to visit our school on this day and avail of the opportunity to view the school as it is today and also to see the many photos and mementos from years gone by.
The children in primary 6 learned all about Tessellation this week. Tessellation is a bit like tiling - it's all about fitting shapes together without gaps or overlaps. The children created patterns using carpet shapes and their ipads. They now know which 2d shapes tessellate best and which do not tessellate at all.we're looking at you, circle!
We had to bid farewell to our wonderful Primary 7 children this week but we couldn't let them go without celebrating their individual and collective achievements. We wish them all well for their new start in secondary school. Goodbye and God bless. Primary 7 got a taste of life in Crumlin Road Gaol as part of their World Around Us topic 'Our Time Our Place'.
