Services
We do not have a children's menu but some of our dishes are easily adapted to children's tastes and portions. Yes, you can walk in without a reservation as we do have some tables that are available on a first-come first-serve basis. However, we always advise to book to avoid disappointment. We are unable to take reservations outside, tables are allocated on a first come, first served basis.

Terrible experience the service was good but the food was not. My parents got muscles which were disappointing to say the least, the french fries were cold (if they were warm they would have been much better but they weren't). My sister got a burger which was probably the best meal that was served but it was not good either and finally I got the crepe complete which was an utter disappointment. The crepe was soggy and was not at all at the standard I expected.

If you visit and haven't had the onion soup, you've done yourself a massive disservice.
Outstanding food supported by excellent service. Don't expect to walk in and be seated during peak hours and seasons; do make a reservation and come with an appetite.
High quality French cuisine is easy to associate with a large bill and a fair amount of pretense, especially when it's a facsimile of the real thing. If you find yourself in the area, treat yourself to Colbert and enjoy the genuine article. The cost is reasonable enough you may fancy bringing a mate too.

Food was not good. Dried out (to the point of being hardened) duck. Oily over-parsleyed escargot (doubt they used butter). No foie gras on menu. Waiter did not want to be there. And we had to ask twice for our sides. Noise level averaged over 82 dB which is VERY LOUD (measured with SoundPrint app). Great location. Nice decor.

Great service, great atmosphere, tasty Bloody Mary.. probably one of the best I've had but the food was meh. I like eating healthy so when I saw the superfood salad I was excited. Unfortunately it lacked taste. If the quinoa was warm and offered a interesting dressing it would have been good I think.

Colbert is a fairly upscale French bistro with classic French interior and a relax unpretentious atmosphere. I been there for weekend lunch and dinner, the staffs are always attentive and warm.
On a nice day, I would recommend you to get a table outside. There are many pleasant buildings around the café and the architecture is just lovely. If you are a person who enjoys architecture and interior design, you will enjoy it very much..

Hit and miss. Mussels were great. Best anywhere! Chicken an abysmal failure. Service was first rate, though a bit confusing. Did we actually have ten waiters! We just showed up last week on a rainy night. Seated immediately. Great location for hanging out in the King's Road. Hotspur for The PJ (www.junto.blogspot.com)

Very classy looking French restaurant in Sloane Square. Gives you a great vibe when inside or outside. The London experience once again!
Superb service from an Italian wait staff. Many good drinks, especially the beer on tap.
Food is good average bar food. Enjoyable hang to have conversation with friends or you significant other for long hours.
Good price/value relationship.

This place was really great! I'd have to say that my favorite part about it was the French theme and all, a country which I'm a huge fan and American fan of including its food. I also really love the steak and the creamy sauce that looked like nacho cheese sauce to me! I really suggest that any of y'all going to London one day go here because it's very great quality!

Housed in a large, gorgeous corner space with high ceilings large wrap around windows and views looking down the streets around Sloane Square, I thought Colbert was absolutely charming. The interior was classic French bistro and the staff and restaurant were impeccably attired and decorated as such. It was spotlessly clean. Five stars for the staff who were fabulous in both accommodating our walk in party of six despite the restaurant being quite full and for the outstanding service the entire management and service team provided us.
The menu, was mainly traditional, but also contained some

Colbert's service seems to be getting worse and worse each time I come here. From the rude hostesses at the door right through to the waiter, everyone is full of attitude, snippy comments and just generally not gracious at all. As for the food, it is a typical French bistro with the usual menu, taste and cuisine. You can do better going somewhere else.

Welcoming, charming spot with friendly staff. Went here for lunch and had a generous pot of Moules Frites. Before getting our food, we were served warm bread with one of the better olive oils I've had at a French restaurant. There was a pleasant, vibrant buzz in the restaurant with some people standing at the bar for a glass of champagne, and some parties sitting down for a proper 3 hour luncheon this Saturday day.
I was brought here by a friend and his wife, and their 6 year old son. Although we had a little one with us and were casually dressed (with wet hair from the pouring rain outside

The bread sticks are these warmed up little mini baguettes and I really love them. I never book and usually spend a ton of time waiting at the bar which, unlike most pubs, has the ability to serve efficiently despite being extremely busy. Service has always been good, though occasionally slow. Toilets flush as expected. Food is standard anglicised french but good. I almost always get an omelet (they are very good).
The best place in Sloane Square area.

Sloane Square manages to be one of the most outwardly pretty yet utterly vacuous London addresses and at 5 to six on a late week workday night, also seems to be home to more arseholes per square foot than a builders bum convention.
Within seconds of leaving the tube I've been buffeted by a spry fool in a pinstripe oblivious to anything but a night on the 'lesh' with the boys ("on my way down the King's Road now squire, you'll spot me, I'm looking seriously sexy tonight") and watched as some infernal permatanned, pashmina clad princesses did her level best

This place is part of the Corbin and King stable that includes The Wolsey, Delauney and Brasserie Zedel. I mention this because I am very neutral on these places- great rooms, but unspectacular food.
I have tried to get in a couple of times before, but have been put off by the queue, and once my dining companion was put off by the fact that everyone else appeared to be an average age of 90. Anyway, on this occasion, we arrived on a Thursday evening at 9pm, when the clientele were of a broader age range, and were seated at the bar for a drink for less than 15min before we were called to the table
