Starter squid was quite good but the sushi was average. I was expecting something extraordinary from sushi and the rest in this type of high level restaurant. Wines are good as well. Try to book night slot after 9 and not before. It was quite sad to give the table back when the events was recently started.

I enjoyed the dishes at sexy fish. I will say that we were told we ordered a lit if food but we finished our meals, the portions aren't very big so if you have a large appetite, order a few dishes.
I had the chicken wings (lovely!) prawn gyoza, black cod with steamed rice and doughnuts dessert (not that nice).
I went on a Friday night and it was very lively with live music and a DJ. Good for a night out with friends.
Service let it down, very very slow unfortunately but it was very busy.

Have always wanted to visit here after rave reviews from a bestie. I was a little hesitant after some of the negative reviews but I needn't have been.
Initial impression was I expected a more grand entrance. In line with current decor trends, the overly dark and moody aesthetic and blue lighting felt a touch dated. That's not to say it isn't a lovely venue, just my personal opinion.
With this said, the venue does have a resident DJ giving the feel if a night club.
After being let in by the doorman we were greeted at the front desk by two very competent attendants. Our coats were taken and we

Lucky enough to be a guest here and what a wonderful experience. The ambiance is relaxed with the well dressed staff being knowledgeable and polite. The food was excellent, especially the black cod and sea bass. The wine which was recommended was a great compliment to the food. All in all a great time was had by all.

Sexy Fish - London (36/50)
.
Continuing with our temporary exile in London here is my review of this popular venue on Berkeley Square (with plans to open another one in Miami potentially soon - though that may fall victim to Corona, too):
.
Atmosphere: psychedelic ceilings combined with dark wood elements frame three main seating areas, one slightly elevated. Entrance leads to bar area with some casual seating as well. Best are the tables near the windows overlooking the square and the (narrow) outside terrace [watch out for the Velcro there]. Overall decor relatively generic with "sexy

VERY loud music. We could barely hear the waitress and definitely NOT have a conversation at the table. The maki we had was ordinary, the fried squid was good. The blackened cod delicious. We ordered rice with… it but never got it. Also, we’ve pushed to order more food, if we wanted anything more, as there was a strict time slot for the table. However, we’d been seated at the table 40 minutes late. In the end, we left and continued our night at another restaurant. The waitress was very nice and did her best. Altogether: food + wine overpriced. The place is not set up for dining

The food is decent, but not necessarily the best Sushi I've had.. very hip and trendy and overhyped, with reality that doesn't live up. Mediocre and pretentious service. Cramped, with diner style furniture. A place that likes to create significant hype and then deliver decent food with underwhelming service. If you want to seem call and send instagram pictures from a place that people want to be seen at, and love loud club music this is the place for you. Otherwise for a good meal and service experience with a group of friends, go to Nobu or one of the many fine establishments in the

Tried going there for late night food. I was wearing a louis vuitton purse, a blouse, diamond earrings, and dark velvet pants with single stripe on it. The horrendously rude employee at the front door was idiotic enough to think that they were sweatpants and impolitely declined entrance despite my date already being let in. Did not bother debating him because poor service & low manners in a supposedly upscale venue disgusts me. (We went there on tuesday, the 12th of november sometime around 11pm and the employee is a male and is manning the front door, in case the restaurant management would

And yet another example that the sharing concept is good for the business but not for the customer.
We were here as a couple on Sunday evening and not very impressed. The restaurant is nice and very stylish but was very busy and hence also quite loud. They seem to have a 2 hour rotation which means that there is quite a bit of churn and noise.
The food that came was okay but not outstanding and the worst part was that the last dish we waited for more than an hour was plain boiled rice. I can see the concept of bribing food when it is ready but in this case it seems more like an excuse for not

It's supposed to be a nice place. But I couldn't join because I was not dressed as required. There are two pinguins dressing pink at the door to say that without no regrets to the customer. I've been at bars around the world and I never saw something like this. Go see other places there's a lot of nice places.

Visited for an impromptu dinner with a friend and sat at the bar as we had no reservations- best choice ever. The bartenders were entertaining, attentive, and made our night that much more enjoyable. We began with a couple of cocktails and then sake with our dishes. Sushi was great as were dishes like the kimchi rice and the king crab & udon noodles. Fun atmosphere all around. Great location.

Great restaurant for small groups of foodies who want to have an upscale, top shelf experience in central London.
Decor is elegant and there is a beautiful bar and DJ booth.
Food prices are very high, but absolutely delicious.
My favourites were the spare ribs, the scallops and the wagyu beef!
They have an extensive cocktail and wine list! Something for everyone.
I ate at sexy fish on a Sunday night, Dj was playing. Music was very loud but this was ok because the restaurant had informed me of this when I booked. Great atmosphere overall
