We aim to create a calm and caring community, where each child will be encouraged to reach their true potential. Central to the creation of this environment is a commitment to Christian values, by recognising the value and worth of each child through the development of self-respect and understanding.
We aim to establish a community wherein pupils, teachers, parents, support staff and Board of Governors enjoy a sense of belonging and have an important part to play. In Christ the King every child will 'Be the best they can be.' Welcome to the Christ the King Primary School and Nursery Website.

Services
Christ the King Primary School and Nursery has eight classes with an extremely low pupil-teacher ratio of one teacher for every 15 pupils. We endeavour to keep our class sizes small so that children gain the full advantage of individual support from their teacher. To this end we also employ classroom assistants in nearly all classes particularly the Foundation Stage to support the learning of all children.
We are a single unit attached to Christ the King Primary School. The staff of Christ the King Nursery Unit believe that the first years at school are the most important years of a child's school life, in fostering positive attitudes and dispositions for learning.
We are committed to providing a secure and stimulating learning environment where each child is given an equal opportunity to flourish and develop his/ her full potential in a happy and caring atmosphere. We consider parents as equal partners in the learning process of their child, and to this end we seek to ensure that there is harmony in our understanding and practice.
