St. Ronan's Recarson Primary School is situated three miles east of Omagh, County Tyrone within the Cappagh Parish. St. Ronan's Recarson PS has a strong reputation of being a caring, welcoming school with a long tradition of high standards expected, achieved and celebrated.
We recognise that parents want their children to go to a school where a very high standard of education is delivered and where they can be confident that their children are being taught by skilled teachers who will develop the qualities and talents of the individual child in a safe and friendly environment.

Reflect the religious ethos of our community and foster the moral, spiritual and religious growth of our pupils, based on the teachings of the Catholic Church. Provide a broad and balanced curriculum programme based on the Northern Ireland Curriculum, which gives all pupils the opportunity to develop academically, socially, emotionally, physically and spiritually, to the best of their potential.
Pastoral Care in St. Ronan's Recarson PS focuses on providing a happy, caring and stimulating environment in which all children will achieve their potential and experience success in their learning and development. The school culture is about child-centred education and this is reflected in the commitment of Staff, Parents and Governors to the well-being and development of all our pupils.
All staff in St Ronan's Recarson PS demonstrate a strong and genuine commitment to the education, care and welfare of our pupils. Staff work together in a committed and conscientious manner, supported by governors and parents, to ensure that children's needs are catered for. At the end of each Autumn Term, the school's 'Board of Governors' publishes its 'Annual Report' for the previous school year.
