Services
Our Croxley Green nursery is set in a purpose built building in Croxley Park in West Watford. Weekly Challenge Sport & Education, Tiny Mites, World of Children's Yoga and Moo Music music and drama sessions. Within a fun and nurturing environment, our highly trained team will help your child develop vital life skills.

We have been discussing our proposals with Barnet Council and are now ready to present them to the public to receive feedback, before submitting a planning application.We believe our proposals will create a high-quality environment for local children that will address a shortage in childcare places, carefully refurbishing and sensitively extending the existing building.

Please bring your child to nursery in denim in return for a small donation. Please see below dates for each Nursery. We are supporting the World's Biggest Coffee Morning event with a cake sale. Please help us raise as much as possible by donating a cake to the sale and buying a treat to take home. Can donations be brought to the office before the morning of the cake sale (please ensure cakes are nut free).
The nursery has been rated as 'good' in all areas and the Ofsted inspector commented that 'Children are curious, and explore and investigate', and 'Children. Continue reading We've been 'GOOD' for eleven years! Boys & Girls Nursery in Stanmore marked Random Acts of Kindness Week by thanking their fellow Key Workers for their continued hard work and dedication throughout the recent challenging times.

Extremely overrated place! My child did not learn anything new that she had not already known before. There was not a single word written in her child's learning journey book for 3 months, just a bunch of photos picturing her playing with toys. Kids just play by themselves and staff only there to keep an eye on kids and prevent them from injuries. On top of all of that, we were exhausted with non-stop colds and cases of flu picked from the nursery. Needless to say, we left a nursery after not too long period of time.

As a first time mum, it felt like a big decision when choosing where to send my 15 month old son to nursery. After a friend recommend Boys and Girls Stanmore, I am delighted to say that I also could not recommend this nursery enough.
All of the staff are kind, patient and reliable. My son’s ‘key person’ goes above and beyond to really know him as an individual, even though he only attends for two half day sessions.
This nursery also has a lovely, new garden which the little ones can play in safely.

Boys and Girls Stanmore is a lovely nursery. Both my girls went here and they both really enjoyed going. The setting is lovely and every member of staff is friendly and welcoming. There are great facilities and you can tell a lot of thought goes into all aspects of the nursery from the toys to the displays. The new garden is amazing and the kids are always so excited to get outside. The food is great and both my children who can sometimes be very picky eaters eat very well when they are at nursery. I would highly recommend boys and girls to anyone looking for childcare!

My twin boys started B&G Stanmore in the baby room at 11 months old. The nursery is fantastic. The boys absolutely love it and it’s great to see them develop their own little personalities. All the staff are caring, happy, friendly, supporting and welcoming. I would not hesitate to recommend B&G Stanmore to others.

This is a great nursery. My son started here in February 2019 and he absolutely loves it. I feel confident that he is safe and happy whilst he is there and this helps me concentrate on my work in that time. The staff are absolutely fantastic. Our key worker is like a second mum to my son. All staff in the pre-toddler room are so caring and honest. The whole atmosphere here is very nice.

We have been using Boys & Girls nursery over the last 7 years our daughter went here first which i can not fault the staff or management, they are so caring and they really looked after my daughter and made us all feel very welcome when she was there, even now she still wishes that she attends the nursery. and then 6 years later me and my wife had a son who now attends the nursery since he was 8 months, the baby room and the pre toddlers room are amazing and really care for our son, he loves coming into the nursery and really enjoys the food there. i would highly recommended Boys and Girls Nursery

I could not fault Boys & Girls Nursery or recommend them enough! One of the hardest things I’ve done as a parent is to leave my babies and go back to work. I couldn’t thank the amazing, friendly, caring and loving staff enough at Boys & Girls who have helped me do this twice in the past 4 years! Today is last day of my son in this nursery as he starts school. I know he is going to immensely miss the lovely staff who very well took care of him ( and loved him so much) and the friends he has made here. My daughter started at Boys and Girls at the beginning of April and I would highly recommend this nursery. The staff were very patient when helping me work out days and hours and made the whole process very easy. The settling in sessions were great and it was nice to watch for a little on the CCTV. Now, whenever I pick my daughter up from nursery I always find her smiling and playing and the staff throughout the nursery are always so friendly and welcoming. The staff in the toddler room are fantastic. They are always very friendly and caring and sometimes my daughter can be a bit shy at drop off

My daughter started in the baby room when she was four months old, the team were reassuring from the first day and built amazing bonds with my daughter. This made it so much easier for me to leave my young daughter when I had to return to work. She has now just moved into the preschool room and her journey to this point has been great. Her key person that was assigned to her in pretoddlers moved with her to toddlers. This was great for my daughter as she has such a fabulous relationship with her and it meant she felt secure. Both of the key workers she has had since joining have supported her development

Jackson has been at the nursery since it opened in Rickmansworth and sadly it was his last day there today! He has absolutely loved and throughly enjoyed his time at Boys & Girls. The Staff have been great and… so very helpful,he has made some great relationships along the way with his key workers and carers and also made some great friends too. I would definitely recommend Boys & Girls!

My little girl is in the baby room at Stanmore. The team of staff that look after her are all truly amazing. Each morning my daughter is eager to go to them. Their attention to detail is superb and they always go the extra mile to ensure she gets the love and care she needs. Her Key Person has really taken the time to get to her know and this is showing through the development she is making. They really have made it easy for me to return to work.

Our son has been at the nursery since it opened in Rickmansworth and he has settled in really well and thoroughly enjoys his time there. All the staff are friendly and approachable. Harry has participated in lots of activities and the room facilities and the outside space are excellent. I particularly like the varied menu they offer and the fact this is all cooked onsite and overseen by a nutritionist and on a four week rotation. Overall really impressed and we couldn't be happier with our choice of nursery.

Boys and Girls is an excellent nursery, that both of my children (2 & 4) thoroughly enjoy attending. The staff are really caring and are interested in the development of the children in their care. The activities the nursery offer are varied and interesting, indoors and out. Delicious food and a location handy for Rickmansworth Station. Excellent!
