Welcome to Chickywicks Day Nursery, a purpose built single storey Day Nursery in the heart of Northwood, Middlesex. We are authorised to care for up to 31 children at a time from the ages of 3 months to 5 years old. Chickywicks has a warm and friendly atmosphere and is run by experienced and caring staff.
Founded by two fully qualified Nursery Nurses in 2008, Chickywicks aims to provide a home from home environment for your child. The health of your child is of prime concern as is their happiness and education. Any dietary requirements will be strictly adhered to and only healthy meals will be provided at all times.

A lot has changed in over a year since my last review. Chickywicks has gone from strength to strength and is now almost full on some days. My little boy has been coming since the age of 6 months and loves it. The staff are so caring for him and he always has a lovely morning. It is quite busy now but there are plenty of staff and he gets loads of attention which is all he wants!
Our Team of carers are passionate about your child's happiness and growth and provide a safe, nurturing environment that cultivates self-esteem. This is more than a just job for our staff. It's an opportunity for them to share their passion for life while they inspire, engage, and awaken the wonder inside each and every child.

My son was able to come out of his shell and make new friends with the help of chickywicks staff. He found it fun to go to chickywicks and learn a lot there I felt happy and safe to send my youngest there. As she was a baby I had a different experience they reassured me about baby’s and developing at different ages with things like eating solids. The stuff have an amazing atmosphere and where very supportive as they knew and understood it’s hard for a mother to leave her baby with other people. I recommend it to any first time parents.

We have tried other nurseries in central London so once moved to northwood we put our son into Chickywicks after checking all the nurseries around. Chickywicks is the best nursery we have ever come across mainly due to the ladies and a gentleman who work there. Our little one loved the nursery! The stuff was very kind and professional, we never had a single problem with them. The two lady head managers have decades of experience and run the nursery extremely well. My daughter used to go to chickywicks a few years ago and she ansolutely loved it. My son now goes there and again he loves it also. The teachers are so welcoming and are fabulous with the children. They update me on every visit to let me know how he got on. Their dinners are varied and but very healthy. I have the option to send my son to the nursery which is attached to the school which my daughter now goes too, but i have decided to keep him at chickywicks. Definately recommend them.

About a year ago I removed my child from a high flying inner city nursery and placed her into the care of Chickywicks. I could not have been happier with my decision and am so grateful to all of the staff whom have ensured that my child is safe and happy. The management itself is outstanding and the lady whom owns it goes out of her way to ensure that all children are well accomadated.
