We are very proud of our children, their learning attitudes and their behaviour around school. We deliver a lively curriculum and plan a wide range of engaging and exciting activities in all classes. These are designed not only to motivate and interest our children, but to support and challenge them in making good and better progress and attain highly across the subject range.
We pride ourselves on taking the time to know each child individually, providing a high standard of pastoral care. We are committed to being fully inclusive, welcoming all children regardless of their individual needs or prior experience in a different school. Our parents play a pivotal role in the education of their children.

School governors are volunteers who help to run the school. Most schools work with a group of school governors - together they're called the governing body. They're involved in decisions about all aspects of managing the school - such as running buildings and budgets, supporting staff and setting standards of school discipline.
Grange Moor Primary School is committed to the safeguarding of children in our care. The policy below set out how we do this. All staff in school are trained in safeguarding matters and are highly proficient at recognising signs of physical, emotional and sexual abuse and neglect. Staff are experienced in managing disclosures from children and how to refer cases to the Safeguarding Lead.
The DfE have recently reinforced the need "to create and reinforce a clear and rigorous expectation on all schools to promote fundamental British Values of democracy, the rule of law, individual liberty and mutual respect and tolerance of those with different faiths and beliefs." Children have many opportunities for their voices to be heard.
All schools receive money from the Department for Education to improve the provision of Physical Education and sport in primary schools in England. We have a School Sport Organising Crew (SSOC) who are active in school. They are reponsible for organising events in school for pupils of all ages to take part in.
Our class is made up of Years 3 and 4 - we have 15 Year 3 children and 16 Year 4 children (who are all fabulous!) We work hard and have fun in our class. We are enjoying being back in school and loving being together and safe in our class bubble. Please take a look at some of the activities we have enjoyed doing in school so far this year.
