Our school motto is: Cherish All, Achieve Together and this encompasses all that we do at the school. This has been inspired by the following verse in 1 John 4:7: "Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God." We are a Church of England Voluntary Controlled Primary School and are part of the Diocese of St. Edmundsbury.

We believe that God has a unique plan for each of us, and we can achieve all things through God's love and care. Our school embeds Christian values and teachings, we provide a caring learning environment which affirms the unique importance of every individual in our school family. We strive to enable everyone to develop their individual talents so that we are all fully prepared to be responsible global citizens.

We believe there is a direct connection between children's appearance and their attitude to school. Therefore, we expect our pupils to wear the school uniform and be smart when coming to school each day. In particular we do not allow the wearing of jeans, tracksuits, casual shorts, boots, trainers and clothing not in school colours.
This grading reflects the hard work and commitment from the staff, governors, parents and pupils in continuing to make Worlingworth the great school that we know it is! Staff work very closely together and there is a real sense of family. All adults know every pupil as an individual and, equally, all pupils know each other well.
We are very pleased to announce that the school was judged as an 'Outstanding' Church School, in all areas of the inspection. A Christian ethos is at the heart of the school. The supportive atmosphere played a major part in the very rapid and sustained improvement in academic achievement between 2012 and 2016, as recognised by Ofsted.
We are a fully inclusive school and throughout the school we use the vocabulary of 'Challenge' and 'Growth Mindset'. Challenges are embedded into our lessons, with 'Higher Order' questions being used to stretch and challenge our pupils. We explcitly teach and encourage 'Growth Mindset', a model devised by Dr Carol Dweck.
The purpose of Worlingworth CEVCP School's safeguarding policy is to provide a secure framework for the school in safeguarding and promoting the welfare of those pupils who attend our school. Worlingworth CEVCP School has a Governing body whose legal responsibility it is to make sure that the school has an effective safeguarding policy and procedures in place and to monitor that the school complies with them.
