Our D.T. project this term was 'Building Bridges' and great team work was shown when designing, constructing and evaluating. What an amazing experience we had this afternoon when we met a range of beautiful birds of prey!.
In the morning, we visited the Mountain Centre in Libanus and had an interesting walk and talk with a National Park warden. We had two fun-filled afternoons of great science exploring 'Why Slugs Need Slime' and 'The Marvellous Colour Changing Cabbage'. On our recent visit to 'Big Pit' we journeyed underground into a real coal mine and learned all about what life was like working underground in Victorian times.
