We intend to give your child a fun, safe and exciting learning experience while in our care. As well as day care we can offer holiday club for children up to 11 years old and a 'wrap around' service for children attending Sacred Heart primary school and Grove Lea school in Hemsworth. All children are given a wide range of age/stage appropriate toys for both indoors and outside use.
These toys are chosen for development and stimulation. We encourage independence, where appropriate, and feel this allows children to grow in self esteem and confidence. Our hope is that all children will feel safe and at home and so can choose quiet time if they wish.

Services
All the food and drinks that we provide are nutritionally balance and of the appropriate portion for your child. We will be providing breakfast, a hot lunch and a light tea. The children will have access to fresh drinking water at all times and will be offered fruit at snack times. If your child has any dietary needs it is important that you inform us.
Through nurturing and knowing that every child is valued we aim to provide the foundations for lifelong learning. We hope that every child feels excited to be at Little Gruffalos and knows that they are cared for, safe and loved. All our staff are committed to the highest standard of care and knows that every child matters and is an individual.
We understand that parents often have to go back to work sooner than they would like. For this reason we will be opening earlier and closing later than other nurseries in the area. This way parents are able to know that all their child care needs are met. Sections have been arranged in line with school days.
