Services
Our premises will be safe, secure and our staff will be suitably qualified and have the necessary DBS/vetting checks. They will be caring, loving and act as excellent role-models, helping the children to make a positive contribution within our nursery, and indeed the wider, community.
We will provide a range of fun, enjoyable and stimulating activities that stem from our children's interests inspired by the Early Years Foundation Stage documentation and we will ensure that we have a thorough understanding of all our children's needs and routines.

James, our cook makes all of our food from fresh and the menu changes on a weekly basis. A copy of the weeks menu will be found in each room, a copy in our entrance hall and one on our closed Facebook group for the mummies and daddies to access. We also sometimes have themed days or weeks where we could make food in our room e.g. at Chinese new year when we make noodles or pancake day where we make pancakes in the upstairs oldest rooms.
Please note that places at Jolly Giraffes are 'funded' places, whereby the government contributes towards the place, they are not 'free' places. We are not a term time only establishment and we are also open beyond 10 hours per day each day, so unfunded hours and school holidays must be paid for.
The nursery education funding is 'free at point of delivery', but there is a consumables charge to cover unfunded elements (as per our nursery's delivery offer of funding).Should you require further information about how funding is utilised at Jollies please don't hesitate to ring us on 0113 205 9449 and ask for Sian.

The report of course is just a 'snapshot' of Jollies, one part of your decision to send your child to us. We welcome you to come and look around, to come and see for yourselves what your 'gut' tells you when you enter the building, because first impressions stick! Look at our parent testimonials and chat to others at playgoups etc that you attend to see if they've been round, would they recommend us?
We were assigned Kirstan who is very bubbly, enthusiastic and just really loves babies! Our biggest concern was how Chloe was going to settle in after only spending most of her life with mummy, daddy and Charlotte. Chloe was also a very very clingy baby. In all honesty, the revised settling in sessions weren't too different from the norm so I think Jolly's have done a fab job in keeping it quite consistent.

Jolly Giraffes is a wonderful nursery. The staff are kind, caring and provide a nurturing and caring environment for the children in their care. My son loves the time he spends there and is learning so much. I am so glad I chose Jolly Giraffes for my son!

Jolly Giraffes is a fantastic nursery. They have cared for both of my children and my youngest had her last day this week before leaving for primary school. Both of my children absolutely loved their time at Jollies. The staff are amazing and genuinely care about all of the children. The setting is fantastic and regularly updated. The food is also fantastic, it’s so good we had to ask for some of their recipes to cook at home.I have Jollies to thank for helping my girls become the confident, happy girls they are today. I cannot thank them enough for the love and support they gave my children

I cannot rate Jollies highly enough, they've been such a big part of our family's life for nearly four years now and we still have a little one there. The staff are incredible, it really is like one big family. My kids come home after a day at Jollies absolutely giddy with happiness telling us all about their day. They work so hard and every child is supported and nurtured. My kids have flourished being at Jollies.

My little girl has just left jolly's to go to big school. They have shaped her into the lovely little girl she is today. Her skills are above average for her age, I've always been impressed with what she has learnt through out the years at such a young age. She can write her name clearly without any help, add up small numbers and even take away. Shes not even 5 yet. She will miss everyone at jolly's very much, staff and friends. I can not recommend this place enough!!

My son has just had his last day at Jolly Giraffes before moving to Primary school and he has loved every minute of being at this nursery. He has come on leaps and bounds since joining and comes home each day with lovely stories about all the fun he has had with the staff and his friends. A big thank you from me and his Dad for preparing him so well for his big step into school life. He will miss you all!

I’d rate it 0 stars if I could. Unprofessional staff who treated my partner like dirt after enquiring about his sons attendance at This nursery. I have never known behaviour from a group of people I charge of looking after children. The conditions are dated and unkept. Walked in to find my partners son being shouted at and excluded from the rest of the children, bag and coat thrown on the floor. If your looking for nursery in this area stay clear! Already issued a complaint to ofsted.

If you live or work in the Leeds 26 area (or even if you pass it on your way to work) then this really is the place to leave your precious ones.
I have seen many nurseries in my time (and worked in a few too) and I can honestly say that this is the best I've seen.
Sadly it is very hard to trust anyone to care for your children these days and we have all seen 'good' nurseries be exposed as very bad places but this isn't going to happen at Jolly Giraffes!
I have seen the way the staff interact with the children when mums and dads aren't around and I have never seen a cross
