Our mission: to create a homely feel at the nursery that every child would feel safe and could develop to their best abilities. We are accepted for being ourselves, encouraged to be the best that we can be and feel we share the same passion in childcare. I have had the chance to wotk my way up and been given opportunites to learn and travel that I've never had before.
Domi Domingo Nursery opened in 2014 as a single room Nursery. Since this time we have grown and developed, now offering 71 places in our baby room, toddler room and pre school room. Throughout our growth we have tried hard to maintain our family feel. We work closely with our parents to try and ensure that your children are happy, settled and enjoy the time they spend with us.
Each of our rooms has been designed for a specific age group, with furnishings, equipment and toys selected to stimulate and enhance children's learning at each stage. In our baby room we have our smallest children from 3 months old to when they are competent walkers. The children are encouraged to learn through many different ways including exploratory play and sensory activities.
The doubling of free childcare to 30 hours is being rolled out by the Government across the country this year. So what is the free childcare deal? In a nutshell, many working parents of 3 to 4-year-olds in England will be eligible for 30 hours of childcare. It has been 3 years since we opened and oh boy, it has been a busy, eventful and fun 3 years!
At Domi Domingo we take a child centered approach to learning. This means that your child is at the heart of their learning, and their interests form the foundations of what we teach. We get to know each child individually and develop their learning through play. The learning and achievements are shared with you through your child's online journal and we encourage parents to comment on this.
