Little Buttons is an independent children's day nursery based on Elland Road in the centre of the village of Churwell, Leeds. We offer a friendly and caring environment where children learn through play. We carefully plan activities that are personal to each child in their developmental stage and meet the requirements set out in the Early Years Foundation Stage.
We care for children aged 3 months to 5 years old and we are open 8am - 6pm, Monday to Friday. We now offer a breakfast club from 7.30am!

Little Buttons is based within a former church and grounds, which have been fully transformed into a beautiful childcare facility where children develop in a safe and stimulating environment. Our outside areas have been specially landscaped to create a safe, fun and natural environment for the children to learn and play in.
Our experienced and highly qualified staff ensure that every day is fun, interesting and rewarding at Little Buttons Nursery. All our staff are friendly, approachable, caring and strive to provide the best possible care for our children. All members of staff hold a recognised childcare qualification.
Little Buttons aims to provide a safe, child-focused experience where appropriate learning takes place in a positive, fun, friendly and flexible environment. All children are encouraged to reach their full potential as members of a happy caring community and we are committed to providing a safe and motivating environment in which your child can develop and grow at their own pace.
Our nursery has been specifically designed to promote these aims and we hope you will love it just as much as we do! Safeguarding children is an absolute priority for our nursery. We incorporate safeguarding in everything we do at Little Buttons and aim to give every child the best possible start to life.
At Little Buttons we carefully plan activities that are personal to each child in their development stage and meet the requirements set out in the Early Years Foundation Stage. This is a framework set out by the department of education, which recognises the overall nature of development and learning at this age.

Little Buttons is an amazing nursery. The staff are so friendly and have done a great job with settling the children back into nursery after lockdown. My daughter loves coming to nursery on a morning and her confidence has grown so much since starting. I'd recommend to anyone looking for childcare 🙂
