Services
Tapestry is an easy-to-use online learning journal, Tapestry helps educators and parents to record, track and celebrate children's progress in early years education. Brierley Playmates is a fun-packed and busy environment. From messy play and first steps to learning phonics and new games, there's so much for children to do, learn and take in.
Any child can potentially be hurt, put at risk of harm or abused, regardless of their gender, ability, religion or ethnicity. Our primary role in child protection and safeguarding is to recognise and react to signs of abuse or concern related directly to a child.
Brierley Playmates management and staff teams work in partnership with our parents and carers to provide a safe and nurturing environment where children are able to feel secure and free from harm.Our close relationships help us to recognise when a child is acting in a way that is not their usual emotional or physical self; any concern will be immediately acted upon to ease a child's distress.

My son started here last year & is doing his final year! They have helped my son come on so much. He hardly spoke or said any words before coming to this nursery & from day 1 from him starting he has learnt so much & his speech is so good now! My daughter will be coming here next year when my son goes up to primary so excited for her to start such a great nursery! Thank you for everything you have done for Oakley & also Me!x

Emotional day today as it’s Joel’s last day at Playmates. Can’t thank this nursery enough for everything they have done for Joel, in helping him learn and grow. All the staff are fantastic with the children, friendly and caring. Joel will be very sad to leave, as he loves his nursery but he is looking forward to starting ‘big school’ in September. Highly recommend Brierley Playmates. Thank you

Amazing nursery with fantastic caring staff. My son has been attending for well over a year and loves it. Activities are carefully planned to suit the interests of the children and the children's ideas are considered when planning. Weekly topics offer a wide range of experiences. The staff are friendly, approachable and really take the time to get to know the children individually. I would highly recommend Brierley Playmates.
