Little Ducklings Day Nursery is located in Wombwell, Barnsley, and is privately owned by Michelle Murdoch. They have a clear vision that is to provide the best care possible for all children and parents. Services
Lydia has worked at Little Ducklings Day Nursery since 2012 and has a Level 3 qualification in Childcare. Shirley is Nursery Supervisor and a Practitioner in the Preschool Room; she has a Level 6 qualification in childcare and many years experience working in childcare. Sammy is our nursery SENCo working alongside Lydia, Samii is also a Level 3 Practitioner in our Preschool Room.
Small World is an important aspect of children's play. It helps in many areas of development. This area also offers the opportunity for children to build on their communication and language skills. Children will expand their vocabulary, understanding and imagination as they create stories based around the resources provided.
