Close to the beautiful, Roman spa city of Bath, the Thai Barn is located in the centre of the ancient market town of Bradford on Avon, a similarly attractive place, but with a history and charm all of its own.

Services
Offering a selection of authentic Thai dishes picked straight from Thailand and cooked by master Thai chefs. Saisunee and Alan Pettitt founded The Thai Barn in 1998. Originally, the restaurant was located in Bridge Street, in the building where the town's blacksmith used to ply his trade. This historic building was refurbished and redecorated so that the Thai Barn could develop its own unique character and ambiance.

We went to Thai Barn for the first time this week after hearing lots of good things. We were not disappointed and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Very authentic tasty Thai food and would highly recommend. We had… squid starter which was the most light and fluffy I have had and a chicken satay. Which tasted just like what we have had in Thailand. Service was outstanding and everyone was very friendly. We will definitely be visiting again soon 10/10.

Lovely restaurant in a great part of town. Really enjoyed the Massaman Curry, which was listed as the chef’s special, and the Pandan Pancake for dessert was just divine! Make sure to try the Honey Hot Chocolate, as that rounded up a great evening of lovely food, fab service and overall a brilliant evening!

Been to many Thai restaurants as one of my favourite cuisine and Thai Barn is most definitely one of the best I’ve ever had. The dishes were so traditionally made, I really felt like traveling to Thailand. So many beautiful flavours, lots of spices, and just enough of a kick to boost it up. Couldn’t recommend enough. Yum yum yum.

Amazing vegan menu! We got a takeaway for my mum's birthday and were blown away by the lengthy vegan menu. I don't think anywhere else in Bradford on Avon has this much choice, and everything was fresh and delicious. Most things marked as vegetarian can also be made vegan, so we had the Pad Thai (and spicy means spicy!), vegetable tempura, brocoli, aubergine and tofu on a bed of lettuce, smothered in garlic. I mentioned to the owner that it was my mum's birthday and she gave her a candle, which was so lovely and unexpected!

Absolutely superb. Very busy but they very kindly squeezed us in on the night before Valentine's Day. Extensive Thai menu with great variety of meat and vegetarian choices. Service discreet by authentically dressed staff. Ethnic/modern decor in old, traditional building. Super clean and classy. Best Thai I have ever tasted. Booking highly recommened.

Very nice restaurant and lovely surroundings. Good food very tasty indeed but I would have to say the portions are a little bit small. The set dinners are quite good value but with sticking a bottle of wine on top will take the dinner to at least £60 for two. Other then that lovely place, good service and nice for a romantic dinner for two or family get together. Quite posh, dress up occasion.

The Thai Barn is the best Thai restaurant in the area people travel for miles to eat here. It is located in the old forge in the quaint old centre of town the building dates back to the 17th century. The staff all dress beautifully in traditional costume and the service is exceptional, attentive but discreet. The food is amazing, and is beautifully presented some of the carved vegetables are an art form in themselves. They also serve some really lovely home-made Thai deserts (not your average bought-in frozen things). This is the best Thai restaurant in the country that I have eaten in; 5 stars
