Livingstone Primary School
We've recently updated the site and it's now easier to navigate and reflects the principles of Livingstone very well. We are a community school at Livingstone and we love to inspire the pupils, we celebrate our differences whenever possible. Our pupils have active minds, tons of enthusiasm and there's always a lot happening here.

I'm really proud to be leading a fantastic team of staff and everyone is united in our effort to help every pupil improve and meet their potential. School life here is fun, stimulating, varied, rigorous but also above all enjoyable. Please visit our Parents page for more information and support including online safety information.
Services
We now have capacity for up to 60 children in our Reception classes, Year 1, Year 2, Year 3, Year 4, Year 5 and Year 6; space for up to 420 pupils. We are proud of our multi-cultural identity and each ethnic group is celebrated and valued. We have around 40 different languages spoken. We have swift and supportive induction procedures for families who are new to the school and for whom English may not be their first language.
Children in Years 1 to 6 are taught from the National Primary Curriculum. Children's learning is enhanced by providing practical fun activities to encourage them to use their learning in different situations. We also make meaningful links between subject areas providing further opportunities in English, Maths and ICT skills.
Your child will need a sunhat at school and please apply sun cream before arriving at school. The children in Puffins are starting out in their journey and we do lots of learning through play. Learning can sometimes be messy so if we come home dirty we have had fun! For your information here are some of the documents which support the planning for children in the Early Years Foundation Stage.
Learning in Reception is based on enquiry questions for each half term, the children also take an active role in this process and this is displayed in the classroom. During the first term of school, our main priority is to ensure the children settle in to the school routine in the best possible way.
There will be lots of activities to get involved in across a wide range of topics which we really hope you will enjoy! For your information here are some of the documents which support the planning for children in the Early Years Foundation Stage. Please also sign the children's diary so that they can receive stickers which lead to prizes!

Bullying is absolutely awful at this school and although teachers are clearly aware of it, they do nothing about it.
