Northwood Primary School
We are a busy, friendly school, with lots going on. Our website aims to give you a taster of the school, and to provide information for parents, pupils and the wider community. We hope that you enjoy your visit to our website, and that you find the information you are looking for. Please feel free to contact the school directly with any queries you may have.
Services
At Northwood, a form of simple and sensible school clothing has been adopted, and we thank parents for supporting our expectations for the uniform. All children need a school bookbag & PE bag (available to buy from the school office). Please note that large bags and backpacks are not permitted at Northwood - we simply do not have the space to store them, and they could pose a hazard in the porches in the event of a fire evacuation.
In the event of very bad weather the decision to close the school is only taken after great care and consideration. We will only close the school if it is absolutely necessary. In the event of any school closure we will notify parents by text message. Please make sure that the school has your up-to-date mobile number so that you receive our messages.
The Trinitas Academy Trust is a collaboration of one secondary school and five primary schools all within close range in the London Borough of Bexley. This partnership has created a family of school where strong Christian values are at the centre of everything we do. The resources of all schools are used to provide a stimulating learning environment, which is inspring to both pupils and staff.
The funding is intended to help disadvantaged pupils to 'close the gap' and to raise attainment and improve progress. Pupils who have been registered for Free School Meals (FSM) at any point in the last six years. To ensure every pupil premium child makes at least expected progress at the end of each year.
Northwood is a Gold Level Rights Respecting School (RRS). The Rights Respecting School Award is based on UNICEF's United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC). We have put this convention at the heart of our school's culture and ethos. This helps us to improve well-being and to develop every child's talents and abilities to their fullest potential, equipping pupils to become Rights Respecting global citizens.

Lovely single form entry school, teachers know all the pupils by name and they are well looked after and supported in their learning. Unfortunately ours had to leave due to relocating too far away, but would never have considered another school otherwise.
