Goose Green is part of the Communitas Education Trust. We share a similar set of values with the Trust and it supports us to deliver our vision and mission for the school in accordance with those values. Children will leave Goose Green having achieved their full potential as independent, resilient and curious learners who are ready for the next stage in their learning journey.
We are one of over thirty schools who are part of the John Donne School Direct partnership. The partnership offers an outstanding school-based model of teacher training where you learn on the job. Trainees complete their training year having gained a PGCE and QTS from Goldsmiths University, allowing them to teach in schools across the UK and worldwide.
Our policies describe how we do things at Goose Green Primary and Nursery School, all of them are carefully considered and regularly reviewed by governors before being adopted. If, as a parent of a pupil attending this school, you require a paper copy of the information on this website, we shall provide this free of charge.
The following tables show the percentage of children who met and the percentage of those who exceeded the national expectations in the Early Years, the Phonics Screening Check, Key Stage 1 SATs and Key Stage 2 SATs. The DfE reports on important statistical information about the school including how our children perform and how we spend the money allocated to the school.
The report reflects the hard work that the children and Goose Green team have been doing over recent years and we're delighted to share that they've concluded that our school is Good and also gave positive feedback about the further improvements that the school is making.
We'd like to say a huge thank you to the whole school team, to Goose Green families and children past and present, and also to everyone in the wider East Dulwich community for the support you've provided for our wonderful school.
