The hotel offers eight ensuite Bed & Breakfast rooms, which have been refurbished to a good standard. As a small business we would love our guests to book direct and prevent us from paying third party commissions. Four bedrooms are located within the hotel and three are situated in former cottages which adjoin the main hotel building, alongside the "Cabin Room" at the rear of the hotel.
Dumfries and Galloway is an area of remarkable, scenic, historical and cultural diversity. This unspoilt corner of Scotland is the perfect escape from the stresses of modern day life. Tigh na Mara Hotel specialises in catering for small golf, shooting and fishing parties. There are many excellent golf courses in the area and the hotel can offer concessionary rates on request.

Absolutely amazing meal tonight. Steak pie was beautiful but the macaroni was to die for.... I mean, THE best best I've ever tasted....ever!
Premises were immaculate and very welcoming as were the staff. Bonus is that's its pet friendly in the bar area and beer garden (where we ate) which has overhead heaters at each table.

The staff are absolutely lovely, and the food was godly! Our dog was a bit nervous since he's just a puppy and the staff were very understanding about it, bought him some water and a thick slice of beef as a snack. Overall 10/10 in terms of customer service and the food itself. If you're in the area, I DEFINITELY recommend that you come here for lunch!
