Mission Grove Primary School

The School Data Dashboard provides a snapshot of school performance at Key Stages 1, and 2. The dashboard can be used by school governors and by members of the public to check the performance of the school in which they are interested. The School Data Dashboard complements the Ofsted school inspection report by providing an analysis of school performance over a three-year period.

The Governing Body consists of unpaid volunteers, who work alongside the Head teacher to establish the aims and policies of the school; they are responsible for overseeing the organisation, curriculum and budget of the school.

My name is Karla Thomas and I am a parent to 4 children, 3 of which attend Mission Grove, my 6 year old daughter is in year 1, my 4 year old is in reception and my 3 year old is in nursery and one day my new born will be attending Mission Grove.I am currently a member of the PTA, I have been a member of PTA for going on 2 years now.

Use of Pupil Premium to support free school meal and looked after students at Mission Grove Primary. Every school has a duty to ensure that every individual child is given the best possible chance of achieving their potential. The Government provides Pupil Premium funding, which is in addition to main school funding, to help address national inequalities between the achievements of children eligible for free school meals or children in care.

Teachers are also doing remote learning. They will need to use their missiongrove email, all children from year 1 to 6 have an email. The teachers will send them to a microsoft teams for lessons with their teacher online. Children at home should be reading for at least 30 minutes a day They also should be doing their TT rock stars or numbots.

We use a theme based curriculum to ensure a fun and engaging curriculum for all, to motivate the children's desire to learn. The curriculum is broad and balanced. We enrich the curriculum through a wide range of educational visits, and by drawing upon the local and wider community. We recognise that we are living in a technologically advancing world and our aim is to prepare the children adequately for this.
