Greenleaf Primary School
Greenleaf School provides inspirational, inclusive and excellent learning in a vibrant, fun environment to create self-confident and respectful pupils, proud of themselves, their school and their wider community. Greenleaf is a special and highly successful school for children and staff located in the heart of Walthamstow. We are proud of our 'outstanding' reputation and its many achievements and awards.
Services
An environment which promotes a healthy lifestyle through emotional self-awareness and physical well-being. Governors are part of the largest volunteer workforce in the country; they play a key role in helping the school provide the best possible education for all its pupils. The Governing Body must exercise its functions with a view to fulfilling a largely strategic role in the running of the school.
We have a fantastic opportunity for an aspiring individual who wants to make a positive contribution to our school. We are looking to appoint an exceptional Teaching Assistant to support a child with medical needs (Type 1 Diabetes). Greenleaf Primary School is very proud of its reputation to succeed and ensure that every child matters and every child is able to reach their full potential.
At Greenleaf Primary School we take Safeguarding of children and Child Protection extremely seriously. The school will, in most circumstances, endeavour to discuss all concerns with parents about their children. However, there may be exceptional circumstances when the school will discuss concerns with Social Care and/or the Police without parental knowledge (in accordance with the London Child Protection procedures).
We believe in providing a rich and varied, high quality Early Years Education for our children. We recognise the importance of, and our responsibility to, an excellent Early Years Education as the "building blocks" for academic achievement, in terms of raising self -esteem, increasing confidence and independence and creating an enthusiasm for learning.
Welcome to prospective new parents and children and we look forward to possibly seeing you in September! We value the importance of learning through play! We support emotional resilience, independence, exploration and the development of thinking skills within a stimulating play environment. We work alongside and support parents in the development of the Early Years Curriculum.
