Behaviour and relationships are excellent because the distinctive Christian values teach the pupils to make good choices. Teachers know their pupils well and plan learning that meets the needs of different groups of pupils accurately. We expect all staff, children and visitors to always behave in a way that shows our values. We are a very strong community who show huge amounts of respect to each and every person that we work with, play with or even meet for the first time. Our Christian faith guides our decisions and attitudes but when we come across something challenging for us, we will always persevere and try our very best.
At Trinity our History lessons aim to develop a curiosity of the past, a critical view of sources and a love for how our world has come to be the way it has today. Children will learn about a wide variety of topics, from the changes in living memory and Florence Nightingale, the Great fire of London and famous explorers in KS1 to branching out in KS2 with the timeline of the world up to 1066 and studies of our own local History.
Primary School is a rural primary school situated in the beautiful village of Aldwincle in Northamptonshire and serves a wide catchment of villages including Islip, Wadenhoe, Thorpe Waterville, Sudborough, Lowick and the surrounding area. On the 1st Feruary 2019, our school officially became part of the Peterborugh Diocese Education Trust as an academy. Being part of PDET enables us to work closely with the other 29 schools within the Trust as we share the same objetive of providing the very best education to the pupils and communities that we serve.
