Cuddles Day Nursery
As one of Dorset's leading childcare providers for babies through to teens, we have been offering high quality care for children since we opened our first setting in Canford Heath in 1999. Each room has its own core staff to ensure continuity for the children and parents. We have amazing outdoor facilities and the children spend time outside every day, using bikes, scooters, tunnels, sand pits and water trays.

At Parkstone, we have two baby units where children are cared for in small peer groups of up to 9 per group. We have a robust key person ethic so that your child can build a close relationship and attachment to one person. The bright large indoor rooms are warm and inviting and are specifically designed and equipped to allow all the children the freedom to play safely, using a mixture of imagination and dexterity.
Services
Cuddles was started with the aim of meeting the needs of working parents, by providing an affordable high-quality care facility, which has the child at its heart. We understand that all children are special, with individual requirements. We help to develop the physical, intellectual, linguistic, emotional and social skills that children need to build their self-esteem and confidence.
At Cuddles, the term 'learning journey' refers to a collection of documents that are collated by your child's Key Person and other practitioners within your child's room. This provides a picture of your child's development under the areas of learning, as identified in the EYFS. Learning journeys consist of photos, artwork, mark-making, etc, and are interspersed with observations and notes of relevant conversations or comments made by your child.
We aim to provide the future generation with the skills to help them become confident, self-assured individuals who have the enthusiasm to learn. My name is Emma and I am nursery manager at Cuddles Day Nursery in Canford Heath. As a manager of the nursery, my role involves supporting staff with routines, learning and education plans for children.
At Cuddles, we aim to provide the future generation with the skills to help them become confident, self-assured individuals who have the enthusiasm to learn. Before starting the nursery, your child will be given at least two free-of-charge settling-in sessions to ensure there is a smooth transition from home to the nursery.
At Cuddles, we aim to provide the future generation with skills to help them become confident, self-assured individuals who have the enthusiasm to learn and this is why in 2014 we opened our third nursery in the Cuddles family. Poole Stadium setting has been enhanced, adding a kitchen, children's toilet area and outside play area.

Allround fantastic personable service recieved each and every day. A dependable, trusted relationship between the staff and children and staff and parents. Its a genuine pleasure to visit each day and drop off/collect my littleone and to learn of the adventures of the day. Highly commendable all round. Our daughter is so advanced in her development, excelling against national targets. The Little Hoots team are awesome, 5 stars just isn't enough!

I'm writing this review as a parent who's son went to Cuddles Day Nursery in Canford Heath during the school holidays and has so many amazing memories of fun packed days both on site and on their organised day trips. The staff are really friendly and the booking system very simple. Thank you :-)

My daughter went there from 2 years old until she started school last year. She really enjoyed going there, all the staff are lovely and really friendly, and I was never worried about leaving her in their care.
My daughter is now 5 and we still use the holiday club at Cuddles which she loves - it's not the cheapest holiday club but I feel much more comfortable having them look after my child than any of the others.
I can't praise Cuddles at Canford Heath highly enough!

I couldn't be more happy with the care that our baby gets at Cuddles Nursery. I'm not sure what the person from Southampton is talking about... It sounds like a different nursery altogether. Baby's nappy is always clean and the staff are lovely. If you take a service without understanding the contract & then don't want to pay it serves you right. I wholeheartedly recommend Cuddles and the new extension is fantastic. 10/10. Ofsted Outstanding is totally deserved.

I too am amazed at the comments of the Southampton person. My twins have never not wanted to go to nursery and actually love their key workers. I have always been treated with respect and courtesy from all staff and found them to be more than helpful. My children are happy, contented and growing as individuals, thanks to the care and ethos at Cuddles. I cannot praise them enough! As for the financial side of things - as the saying goes: you only get what you pay for, and Cuddles are worth every penny. Their facilties are purpose built and second to none, both inside and out. Keep up the good work
