Julian's School
We are a popular, growing and successful primary school based on two sites working in partnership with each other as one school. We admit two forms of entry to our West Norwood site on Wolfington Road (60) and three forms of entry to our Streatham site on Leigham Court Road (90) each year.

Significant partnerships continue each year with the Moving Matters Sports Partnership, CLC Lambeth, The Primary Shakespeare Company, Lambeth Music Service, etc. Each year we work alongside creative practitioners on an aspect of our curriculum. We are also part of the South Lambeth Schools Partnership and Children's University.
Services
It is with great pleasure that I welcome you, on behalf of the children, staff and governors, to Julian's Primary School. Julian's Primary School aims to provide a warm, welcoming and supportive environment in which our pupils enjoy working and learning together. We care about the health and well-being of every child, and want them to feel safe and secure so that they are able to take risks, are not afraid to make mistakes and embrace learning.
Due to the pandemic and its long term effects on children's learning, Julian's has had to reduce the number of after-school clubs on offer in order to focus on interventions so that we may begin to close the knowledge gaps. However Moving Matters, our specialist sports coaches will be offering a series of clubs, on both the Streatham and West Norwood sites from the middle of September.
The School Council plays an extremely important role in the school. At the beginning of the academic year, two members of each class are democratically elected to represent their class at weekly school council meetings and to give pupils in our school a voice! Each term the school council members meet up together to share ideas and suggestions.
We are a highly successful and expanding school which operates across two sites at Streatham (3FE) and West Norwood (2FE). We offer an exceptional learning environment in our state-of-the-art facilities, excellent career development opportunities, high quality professional development and supportive staff.
Julian's Primary School has been involved with School Direct since the early planning stages in 2011. We work as part of the Dunraven School Sharing Excellence Partnership to deliver high quality teacher training. Our training provider is Roehampton University. This year, 2019/2020, we have three school direct trainees working across both sites from Year One to Year Five.
