We record every child's daily activity in their journal so parents can take home, to obtain an insight into their child's day. The nursery complies with the requirements for the Early Years Register set out in the Statutory Framework for the Early Years Foundation Stage. Services
If a complaint should arise the nursery manager would request a meeting with the parents to see if the problem can be amicably resolved. We endeavour to work in partnership with parents at all times providing regular opportunities for informal discussions between staff and parents which often stops observations becoming complaints.
The nursery will provide breakfast, morning snack, lunch, afternoon snack and tea for the children depending on their sessions. The pescatarian menu at Activity Nurseries Ltd has been designed to provide a well balanced choice of food for young children. We obtain organic foods whenever possible. Pre-school children are developing fast therefore their diet requires the right kind of nutritious foods to encourage healthy growth.
All the Early year's practitioners in our setting use the framework to help them plan for the learning and healthy development of the children in our care. All the rooms have their own weekly lesson plan, these are displayed in their classrooms alongside with their mid term plan and individual planning for every child in the room.
