Caversham Heights Pre-School is a fun, safe, friendly and nurturing environment for 2.5 to 5-year-olds. Passionate and qualified staff are committed to supporting your child's learning journey, from pre-school through to school. Established in 1963 in the heart of Caversham Heights, we offer four pre-school sessions per week for 38 weeks of the year.
We accept Early Years Funding for all eligible children. Pre-school is a great way for children to interact, socialise and learn from others and enables them to form friendships which often continue as they move on to one of the local schools together. During each pre-school session we provide a broad range of challenging and stimulating play activities.

We have been so lucky to have found this wonderful pre-school. My youngest has just spent a joyful 18months under the care of Kath and her team. She has blossomed in confidence and has learnt so much. The mix of in the moment learning, and group activities has been perfect, and allowed my daughter to grow and develop her interests whilst also learning from others. She has also made some lovely friends who will go with her to primary school. Thank you so much pre-school!

Can’t recommend Caversham Heights Pre-school enough really. Both of my children (9 and 4) went to the preschool and they both enjoyed so much at preschool. The head and teachers are lovely and caring with extensive experiences to help the toddlers to develop and grow into preschoolers. The CH preschool also offers a wide range of topics and… activities for children to explore and participate such as Christmas nativity, farm visit, healthy eating, sports day and summer concerts and lots more! My second child who demanded to go to preschool every morning now has just graduated this week
